Looks a good price compared against the current 4TB on offer from Amazon AU, even if all the internals were to be assumed the same, this is still a good looking companion drive for your Xbox One X/S.

thanks, fixed the link in main post.
PS4 version also available for $132
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B076H6TZ7L - Anyone know if these will work for PS5 games? I’ve got a external hard drive connected to the PS5 but I can only store PS4 games.
I think Sony might release their own PS5 external hard drive so that you’ll fork out more money 🤑(Probably the same for Xbox?).
Currently only PS4 games can be played from (or even copied to) an external drive. Apparently they’re working on allowing PS5 games to be copied, but not played. I doubt they’ll allow PS5 games to play from an external drive as the fast loading speed isn’t guaranteed.

All portable HDDs are SMR at this capacity.
These won't work with new Series X optimised games
They'll work as storage for Series X games but you'll have to transfer games to the internal storage to play them. You can play Xbox One/360 games straight from the external HDD.
Waiting for a deal on one with USB C
