Some useless trivia: I saw him a couple of times live. Once at Coffs Harbour when he was playing with Midnight Oil at the Sawtell RSL. It was peeing down rain and the roof was leaking onto the stage. Diesel played one song and then said "F… this" and walked off because he was afraid he was going to get electrocuted. Fair call but the the Oils had no problem and did an awesome show :)
Garret probably did get electrocuted on stage but everyone thought it was just part of his usual routine.
By the way… I've seen a few shows at the Sawtell RSL myself being from just north of Coffs.

Brings back memories…..I can remember when Johny Diesel and The Injectors used to play at the Backstage Bar in Pinochios in Perth in 1988 -99.They used to be an awesome live gig and they were on in their early 20's tops.I thought they were going to make it big after they releases their first album.I used to have a beer with the boys after the show…They were really nice guys it's a pity they didn't make it big
