$519 A good price! I wonder if we can get a better deal in the coming days?

With brightness up to 300nits and a high 3000:1 contrast ratio, the Xiaomi Mi Curved 34” Freesync Gaming Monitor 144Hz WQHD Ultrawide displays clear, vivid beautiful images from blinding white to midnight black.

34” 21:9 UltraWide SVA Curved display
3440 × 1440 WQHD resolution
AMD Radeon FreeSync technology
4ms response time
2x HDMI (v2.0) and 2x DisplayPort (v1.4)
21:9 UltraWide Panoramic View

The 21:9 gaming interface provides a 30% wider view than standard 16:9 monitors. Especially in real-time strategy and first-person shooter games, the wider field of view lets you see in-game developments first, giving you the advantage.

Ultra-clear picture quality

Ultra high-definition 3440×1440 resolution reveals exquisitely realistic detail in every corner of the scene, bringing spectacular game worlds to life.

1500R extreme curvature

The 1500R extreme curvature design feels like being surrounded by the screen, giving you an immersive panoramic view. The curved screen creates a smaller visual inclination angle, so that every point on the screen is almost equally distant from your eyes, reducing visual distortion and giving you a more realistic view of every corner.

High 144Hz refresh rate

The high 144Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time effectively reduce stutter and ghosting in games. In shooting games that require quick reactions, it makes it easier to accurately lock onto and hit your target when speed is the key to winning.

AMD FreeSync Premium

AMD FreeSync Premium technology keeps the picture in sync with high frame rate input, reducing stutter lines and screen tearing when gaming for a smoother picture that gives you a major advantage.

Breathtakingly vivid colour

The monitor can display a theoretical maximum of 16.7 million true colours in rich colour depth and the wide colour gamut of up to 121% sRGB shows exquisite colours in vivid detail. Outstanding colour performance creates life-like images. This feature combines with the 1500R curved panoramic screen to deliver a more immersive audio-visual entertainment experience.

Protects your eyes to make work easier

Equipped with technology to control and reduce blue light and flicker – filters out high-energy blue light for long-lasting clear picture to effectively reduce eye strain.

It'll be $449 through eBay plus on Sunday, but that would require eBay plus. Though at 1000 units, I reckon chances are decent.

      How do you know this?

How are you so sure? Do you have some kind of source?

Been trying to stay away from anything being sold by Kogan. Have had numerous unpleasant experiences, most recently bought the H2O Steam Mop which arrived with water traces in the container. Was used when advertised as brand new. On contacting Kogan they advised it had water traces in it as it was tested prior to shipping. Never heard of such a thing. Liars I would say.

Just though I'd relay my experience.

saw a user say they're negotiating a good deal on this, might be worth waiting

  • -7

Ebay Plus =$49. So basically the same cost as this deal.

    • +2

Ebay Plus has free trial and most have local better warranty than with a Kogan Import….

    • +3

eBay plus gives you a $50 voucher on signup ATM. Not really worth 50 but covers most of the cost.

    • +5

You can activate a free trial of eBay Plus and get a $20 coupon in the process. Don't buy this monitor for $519, that's bordering on a scam.

      • how do you get the voucher?

Direct Import and having to deal with Kogan then shipping back overseas Hard Pass !

I read there was some DP issues at 1440p & 144hz? I thought it was on a previous post but yeah im tossing up this and https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-34-wqhd-curved-219-ultraw…

    Any input?

personally I feel like xiaomi would be better quality than kogan which is why I ordered the xiaomi. I only have the flickering issue when I'm using a cheaper cable, using the included cable seems fine but it's too short for my setup. I'm gonna order a longer DP1.4 cable to see if that fixes it, otherwise I'm stuck with short length cables which dont work for my setup.

    • I bought mine this week from the Digidirect deal and got it shipped in the same week. I used the included DP cable and also the DP cable from the Dell S2721DGF. No issues with flickering and/or Gsync.

      • Do you need DP or HDMI to get FreeSync and get 144hz?

        • DP for 144Hz. HDMI goes to 120Hz only if not mistaken.

Wait for Sunday, as above kogan's after care for this will be shocking.

since when does Kogan become so important when buying a product?

    • I have 5 of these monitors you can have for the price of 1. Payment must be transferred first, then I’ll post them to you.

      I promise.

      • what?

      • What?

      • +1

        seems legit

      • OK.

      • Only idiot will believe it

      • "I promise" same energy as "Source: Dude trust me".

      • Oi. Hit me up if you're not legit im coming to your hole you crawled out from and whip you.

    • Argh they're the middle men… hence direct import you have a problem you contact them then it gets shipped back overseas and you wait months unless you to take it to someone local like Kmart who started selling them and it's best day turn around get what I mean about local Aus warranty…. 🤦‍♂️

Just as a side note…. I was just browsing k-marts online store and I found this https://www.kmart.com.au/product/xiaomi-mi-34-inch-curved-ga… Its not better than most deals but $499 coming soon is an interesting offer from a known major retailer…. Just reiterating that I'm NOT saying to wait for this just that it is an interesting thing for kmart to offer :)
edit: This product is only available for sale online in NSW, QLD, WA and VIC.

    • Kmart just got a + from me.
