  • Tecobuy has these for $294 + shipping but i got JB to price match and did a click and collect today. With all the drama with Amazon the price was ok for me and Wifey will be a happy camper.

    • You did well considering they are Hong Kong based

      https://www.tecobuy.com/en_AU/contact-us

    • How did you do price match via click and collect?

      • Called JB sales and quoted the price via TecoBuy, dude on the phone was pretty good and matched the price and did the deal over the phone.. no fuss, done in 5 mins..

  • It seems that tomorrow’s deal might be for regular airpods only ($185). Not a very good deal. Hopefully they still have pro’s for tomorrow.

    • That would be extremely lame. It would be nice to finally get a AP pros after striking out so many times before.

    • Is $185 the deal price?

  • How did you guys manage to price match with office works on the phone

    • i would like to know as well, i went in today to an officeworks at 9 am sharp and they didn’t let me price match since even the waitlist was full (the manager wanted to price match me to the normal amazon price, which was even higher than the OW one, so i had to walk away)

For anyone who is interested, I can see both AirPods and AirPods Pro under upcoming deals.

    Screenshot: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/250940/84977/b1373620-…

    • I can only see the airpods 2nd gen. Where did u find the pros?

    • I also can’t see Pros. Damn I woke early to get prepared and can’t find them.
Maybe because you had them in your watchlist already.

  • I can only see the upcoming deal on the mobile app, not the desktop version

    • Is it better to refresh the page at 9am on the dot or will it show up automatically?

    • me too. but I cant see the pro version

      • I can see the pro version on mobile

  • cant find it under deals any help please?

  • Couldn't see it on mobile app or desktop site at 9am, did a few refreshes and it came up!

  • That was quick

  • +2

  • Danm had a 'add to cart button' but when clicked it said 'You're on waitlist'

    • +1

Same - hit refresh at 9 and i was able to add to cart

  • +3

Got it today. Good start for a Monday.

    • Same here

  • What does it mean to be on waitlist? How do I check if there's an opportunity whilst waitling?

    • It means that if people decide not to go through with their order, you will get a chance to buy it. Wait until the 15 minutes are up.

      • Thanks, how would I know? Notification via the amazon app? Or by email?

    • someone will have to discard or not buy actually a lot of people will have to discard or not buy

  • +1

got one, was quick to grab one

  • Wooho, got finally managed to purchase AirPods Pro, it never came up on the desktop, luckily I had my phone with the app open on the side, had to go back a page a click on the deal again.

  • Had to manually search 'airpods' to find them, and by 9.00.25 they were gone

  • Thanks got one with 5% SB cashback

  • +3

Got it. The deal is so easy when you can place it on your watchlist. Just a shame that the deal never showed up for me on Sat morning to place on my watchlist.

  • Sweet. Only took me months of trying.

  • Finally got this time yay

  • Bought one.

  • +1

Was able to cop one ytb

  • That was incredibly fast!

  • So easy on the app if you list it in the deals you're watching beforehand

  • Got some with 5% Shopback and 10% Zip pay. Airpods pro for around $215, happy with that

  • +2

How did people score? I was on at 9:00:00 and it said 100% claimed as soon as I pressed it. WTF?

      • +2

This! I missed it 3 days in a row but managed to score one using this method.

      • +1

Oh that sucks. Well at least I know for next year lmao

      • I wasn't able to find it to add to my watch list. Maybe there was a limit to how many could add to the watch list? I could only find AirPods in 'Upcoming Deals'

    • +1

    • +1

I had the airpods pro page already up, i hit refresh at 9 on the dot and was able to add to cart

    • On my phone, I went from home screen to lightning deals at exactly 9am.

Managed to add both the Pro and 2nd gen airpods.

  • +2

Woop woop. Much easier than yesterday. Much.

  • +2

Also anyone got any tips on verifying if these are legit or not as they aren't from Amazon themselves

    • Highly, highly doubt they'd partner with Amazon themselves and sell fakies as part of a Cyber Monday deal. Surely they'd be liable for some sort of lawsuit.

      • +1

I doubt they're not legit but the lightning deal sold by Harris Technology would be best for peace of mind.

No idea who this ACS Technology is. My main concern is warranty if there's a problem with it down the line. But the listing says AU warranty so I assume there should be no problem going to Apple.

    • If they're the ones with Amazon behind them for the Lightning Deal, I hope it's good enough. I think it's also under the Prime deal, so that means I can return, right?

  • Finally got this. Thanks a lot OP. I couldn't believe still :P… such a stress :P

  • Missed it, but not too big of a deal for me I suppose.

  • Looks like quite a few people got one today, they must have had a few more available.

    • Different seller today

      • +2

Yeah and I think this seller had a higher allocation for the lightning deal than the last two (and gave the full discount as opposed to yesterday's $299)

        • In fairness to Amazon, they are refunding $50 to the buyers who bought yesterday.

That’s after collective complaining from Ozbargainers in the chat section of Amazon.

  • Finally got one. Thanks~

  • got one as well.
felt like it was heaps easier than the ebay one (I've tried like 12 times and so close and on some tries left in suspense at the checkout page)

Also pulled the trigger on the normal Airpods 2 as I got too itchy waiting

  • +2

I couldn't even see them until it was too late

  • I'll get one joining the wait list .

    • I'm on a wait list too, but my hopes are not high. How long did you wait? Did you have to refresh the page often?

    • I went on the waitlist at 9.01 sharp and still havent gotten an offer. If you just joined the waitlist I wouldnt have high hopes

      • yeah, no high hopes. It's just wasting my time as I'm supposed to be somewhere else. :D

  • +1

I thought I was ready… Did all prep I can do… It's even on my watchlist but no Add to Cart option showed until it's all gone… :(

    • It should automatically change when the timer gets to 0, at least it did for me (and a lot of others on here)
Were you on the product page or watchlist page? If it was the product page, it wouldn't automatically refresh.

      • Watchlist page on mobile. That's what I was expecting. I'm expecting that I just needed to wait for the button to change then click it. Simple as that. Instead, timer just want to 00:00 then button is still the same - Watching.

  • got one!!! I called OW and tried to price beat as soon as I had them in my cart but they said they didn't see them as being in stock so I just went ahead and ordered off of amazon.

  • +1

Finally got one too - missed out on Prime Day and the previous 2 days of the Black Friday deal.

  • +1

Finally got one!!didn't have it on my watch list.
I just typed airpods pro on search and waited 9 am on the dot to search and boom boom!

    • +3

haha same.. did it so fast I had to go back and see if I actually got the offer :D

      • Haha! Body was so quick Had to check if my soul was left behind.

    • That didn't quite work for me initially, went straight to waitlist with seconds, show 83% claimed… but not sure if that was also from ACS, which is who I bought from in the end.

  • +1

At $249 its shoot first think later. So does anyone know if the last deal was grey market or aussi stock and covered by Apple support?

    • +3

      Its 100% Aussie stock

  • Got one again with zip, should be another 10% off?

    • Should do, it says it applies to multiple purchases up to a max of $50 back.

    • I looked at Zip Pay last night and I may be wrong but it seems while it's zero interest, there's a monthly account fee of $6 "if you have no balance"?

      https://zip.co/how-zip-works

Does that mean every month I don't clear the amount, I pay an extra $6? I understand there's an Amazon promo where you get 10%, I just thought it wasn't worth the hassle signing up to Zip Pay if you haven't already just for this.

      • If you buy from 1-30 Nov, 1/12 you will receive your statement for Nov, if you pay off the amount by 31/12, then no $6 will be charged. Otherwise you will see $6 on your Dec statement, which should issue on 1 Jan.

This is my understanding from reading on their website.

Not sure if it's correct. This is my first time using zip as well

      • *$6/month waived if you have no balance

        • Does no balance mean you've completely paid up, like within the first one or two months? So let's say $249 and I pay $50 first month, $50 the second month, way more than what the minimum might be, I still get slugged an extra $6 a month?

          • +2

@quarrymaster: Yep I think that’s how it works - don’t quote me as I’m a new user as well. I intend to pay everything off straight away with Zip for peace of mind.

          • +1

@quarrymaster: basiclly, you have to pay off the total amount for the previous month within 30 days.
say you spent $500 from 1-30 nov, you have to pay them off by 31/12. also you have to met those minimum payment rule during those period.

      • Yes you must pay the minimum fee or else they charge you. It's like a CC if you miss a payment there is a fee
