I’ve had these for almost 2 years now and no regrets. Great sound quality and a clear mic which is detachable. It’s also very comfortable and I can wear these for hours without any headaches etc. The virtual surround is a bit meh though but it works.

100% would recommend, especially at this price.

    • Totally agree! Keep virtual surround off. Its just a gimmick.
Also, I prefer the foam ear cups they provide as spares as it helps being able to hear yourself while talking.

Keep virtual surround off. Its just a gimmick.

Subjective though - some find virtual surround better than stereo for gaming.

Yeah personal preference i suppose. But if it works for you thats good!
In my opinion it just gives the "Big Room" effect.
I do use the Windows Sonic for Headphones though

          • @jsediv: I think virtual surround gets a bad reputation sometimes because there are definitely some bad processors out there. Windows Sonic is quite good. I find the Dolby processing on an old TB DSS2 better than Atmos (from an Xbox) or any of the Astro Mixamps (2nd gen and onwards).

  • I think this is an international shipping and the Amazon prime free shipping does not apply to it.

Hi, just checked, it is free delivery with Prime when I check out.

      • oops, my bad. Then this is a great deal.

  • But this is definitely a great headphone for PS4.

  • These are older than the Cloud flights?

Had these for a year and 5 months in the microphone broke and hyperx wouldnt send another one. I think its a common issue frlm what i read but i bought steelseries arctis 7s and they are 100x better

    • Had the exact same issue. Really disappointing as I was advocate up until that point.

  • I was able to price match this at JB Hi-Fi, howver needed to pay postage as well. Just purchased these two hours ago at my local JB Hi-Fi, keen to use.

  • Does the boom mute chat on X1?

    • There's a physical mute toggle on the cable which is pretty handy

  • I've been using a pair of these since 2015. Replaced the earpads once and the black coating peeled off the headband this year which was messy but it's all off now so I've got no complaints.

    • Same thing happened to my Cloud Alpha's. Replaced the ear pads and still going strong.

      • I will second that. 5 yrs strong and same feedback. Well worth it at this price.

        • I will third that, replaced mine after 3 years or so, everything else is going strong.

  • Is it only USB or has 3.5 mm jack for phones or xbox one controller. Cant see it in pics or specs.

  • Does JB match Amazon?

    • yes but not all sellers, I matched a plantronics headset last Sunday from Amazon selected au seller, but the staffs aid they don't always match without giving me more details, just call if you don't want to go there. my perception is it depends on what shop and what person you end up with.

  • I was hoping for HyperX Cloud Flight on sale, as it's wireless

    • It's $160 via the same mechanism, won't get any cheaper unless via Amazon US or a JB sale in December.

You can search via product name on this website: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/kingston-hyperx-cloud-f…

      • They've been as low as $130, hence I was hoping BF or CM for that price!

        • I mean it was $130 with cashbacks for an hour at 5 PM, and the only way you're beating that is with 15% off JB gift cards if they have they have it below $150.

  • Eh, Takstar GM200 @ $70 with coupons and cashbacks, or move onto headphones if you have a mic.

Happy with mine. I like bass, they are bassy. If you cover the ports it's quite neutral (to me boring).

  • Bought, thanks OP

  • I'm getting this:

This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: they do not deliver to parcel locker.

  • There is a wireless version of these coming out
