Finally bit the bullet on some Philips hue gear. I think it's been cheaper on catch previously but on the older model. This is Australian stock sold by Amazon. Pay with zip for 10% cashback bringing things down to a cool $193.50

  Not sure how it stacks up value-wise, but I just got the Philips Hue White E27 Starter Kit from Kogan for $69.

  Includes Bridge + 2x White bulbs.

  I was mainly after the bridge, so the bulbs were a nice-to-have given that the bridge on its own sells for like $70+ even with current BF deals
