Paid 499 for one of these pre pandemic, and they are great. Just remember that because it has a digital read out for depth, it relies on you turning that wheel.
What is you overall view of the product? It also qualifies for extra warranty once you register with Bosch.
There is only one bearing on the chuck drive shaft so it has some small side to side movement to it. Ok for woodworking, but not really up to proper metal working performance. I am happy with mine so far, but I got it for $246 this time last year.
Even cheaper, $279 now.

Aus Post had actually picked my order up so Amazon had to get in contact with them and have it returned to the warehouse. It would be a lot easier and cheaper for Amazon if they still did price matching.
This price has ended, but it is still at $299, which is better than the $319 I paid in October… and a lot better than the $399 regular price.
Happy with mine, although I did put a 3D printed handle on the wheel to help with rotation.
