  • Looks like CL16 if you read some of the reviews

    • Think that's for a different model, OP's 2400 looks to be CL15, as per here

  • Even though this isn't the deal for me, it's still a bargain if this is the type of RAM you're after.

    • whats wrong with this type of RAM, I presume the speed? I have a couple of gaming pcs that only have 16GB of RAM, tempted to get this and put it in them. Especially because one of them only has 2 DIMM Slots. I presume you need to buy 2 of them as dont RAM really need to be in pairs to get the Dual Data Rate feature?

      • Yeah, the only negatives are the speed and that it's a single stick. Honestly not that big of a negative; especially if you overclock it a bit. It is a good bargain.

        • People tell me, if you are just gaming, with the current games, you will never need more than 16Gb of Ram, and even thats overkill? Because games can only use a certain amount per process or something like that?

          • @lonewolf: It's not just about the amount or speed of a single ram stick. You have to consider that running a single stick of ram is slower than running 2 sticks of ram. A single ram stick like this 32gb may bottleneck a system, whereas 2x16gb would perform better by sharing the load or separating tasks. In terms of using the new Zen 3 CPUs like the 5600x, if you have one, the more sticks of ram running on quad or dual channel would offer a significant boost in gaming (at best 10%). I recommend checking out the Gamers Nexus video on this(https://youtu.be/-UkGu6A-6sQ), and especially read the top comment by Mirsad Redzovic. I hope this leads you to an answer.
