  • Gold looks cool .

Are these easy to pair with Android TV boxes? Asking for myself

    • +3

From Googling, seems pairing is easy enough but compatibility is where you may run into issues. Xbox One controllers seem to have better milage.

        Cheers megadrive

These were $48 in last years amazon sales. I guess it becomes cheaper here if you get them with GC's.

    • Definitely will wait for it. Too lazy to get out from home to it pickup

Dont forget to stack with coles giftcard promotion

  • Thanks. Got the White, Red and Midnight Blue colours.

I wanted the Last of Us Part II controller but there's no store within 200km with it and there's no delivery available.

  • Come on Amazon!!
No stores near me have stock :(

    • We need Amazon to be the real champion, I want that Last of us part 2 controller

      • Amazon AU itself doesn't even sell the Last of Us Part II controller. So you're not going to get it from them. Sure it's listed on Amazon AU but it's from a third party seller.

        • I remember in the past they had no stock of an item, but they price matched a store and restocked on it.

Now, will it happen with this one? Very very very unlikely since it is store only

          • @BarginGrabber: It's a limited edition controller which is hard to get now. It's extremely unlikely that Amazon AU will stock it.

If only it was not listed as in store only at JB. Would have been tops if there was delivery. No stock here in my part of QLD. So sadly i have to say goodbye to being able to buy it.

            • @hollykryten: Yeah, thats true :/ I'm just dreaming at this point.

Live in VIC and no stock here either.

              • @BarginGrabber: There's probably only a few stores nationwide with actual stock.

                • @hollykryten: There was only 2 that I checked that there was stock in Sydney - Merrylands and Broadway. I went this morning to go try and grab 1 at Merrylands, I was too late saw a guy purchased the controller asked the staff told me there was none left and told me there was 1 at Broadway, got there told me the system is faulty, none in stock. Wasted my time. Now it's out of stock. $49 was cheap. Your next bet would be EB Games - $59, only 1 stock left and it's in Richmond Victoria.

  • Anyone know why the black one was only $79 before? Assume the same controller just the colour.

    • Probably because it’s the vanilla controller colour. Same controller in the end

    • Same same, but the more 'unique' colours such as camo usually valued higher on trade ins. E.g. https://bit.ly/3md9bfp

  • In case it helps anyone DS4 controllers are apparently not compatible with next gen PS5 games (Ps4 games on Ps5 yes, but not PS5 games)

  • Bought the camo one from Amazon during Prime day for $48. Shame the gold one is only available in store.

  • +1

Yeah Amazon AU just put the Dualshock 4 controllers up on Black Friday sale for $48 each. I just bought the Green Camo controller for $38 delivered because i used the first order $10 off app discount coupon.

    • These ones are verified to be original Sony, the Amazon ones seem shady going by the comments.

      • Yeah I bought one of the controllers from Amazon and although it seemed almost indistinguishable from a genuine Sony controller, I eventually found out that it was not in fact genuine as the genuine ones do not come with a micro USB cable in the box. The controller felt fine, but checking it on the PC using DS4 for windows I found out that the Amazon controller had 30ms of input lag when plugged in, where my official Sony Controller only had 2ms of input lag.

        • Just check. Did you in fact buy it from seller amazon AU or was it from a third party marketplace seller which was dealing on the Amazon web site.

I bet you any thing that you actually bought it from a third party marketplace seller.

Amazon itself the seller called Amazon AU would actually have a direct stock shipment relationship with Sony. So you wouldn't have got a knockoff from them.

      • +1

They probably bought the shady controllers from third party sellers through Amazon. Cheap knockoffs.

There's no way that say seller Amazon AU will be dealing in dodgy shady Dualshock 4 controllers. Amazon would have a direct relationship with Sony and would get the Dualshock 4 controllers shipped to their warehouse direct from Sony. You won't get a knockoff if you're careful and actually buy it from seller Amazon AU which is Amazon itself. Just got to be careful when buying from unknown marketplace sellers. Of course some of those comments on Amazon would be from people who bought the knockoff from one of those dodgy marketplace sellers. They just lump it into one comment section from sales from all sellers.

    • Also $49 from Kogan. You need Kogan First to get free delivery.

      https://www.kogan.com/au/shop/?deals_from=kogan&facet-model-…

    • They're not the same item though, one is V2 (Big W) and one is V1 (JB-HIFI) I think? They don't tell you the model variant on the JB-HIFi page which is annoying.

      • The Dualshock 4 at JB Hi-Fi were all V2.

You can't buy V1 any more at retailers. Sony stopped producing those years ago. So the V1 were sold off years ago.
