Super-high in protein, it's the perfect any-time snack.
Unlike normal jerky, our biltong is also available in soft varieties, which are easier to chew, and also dry varieties, which are a bit more tough. Which do you prefer: tough or soft?

I still have the Biltong Cow you drew for me over 3 years ago. Easily the best Biltong I've been able to find.

Not really that cheap tbh.. so its $71 pkg of biltong.. saffa shop is $64 pkg.. making it yourself as cheap as $30/$40 pkg..

    • +4

      Incorrect. After discount it's $60.95/kg.
Also Saffa Shop is $65/kg, and their shipping is expensive, in my example it was $13.43 for regular shipping, and $25.95 for express shipping. We're $9 express shipping.

Prices have gone up over the past 4 years I have been a customer, however the product is superior and if you want quality you’ve gotta pay for it!

I used to buy from you guys but have switched to LoveMeat ($41 for 500g delivered) and Joe's Biltong $39 for 500g (pickup) as they are cheaper and I buy every 2 weeks. Wish you could match their prices then I would be back.

    • Thanks for your feedback about these options, it's always interesting to gain insight about other suppliers and how customer's shop and think
I'm surprised at Lovemeat's price for 500g delivered; I wonder if they are using Express Shipping, like we do? I also wonder what cut / quality beef they use.
With Joe's Biltong we are cheaper for pickup, but obviously if you're not near Brookvale NSW then that's not an option.
I hope we are competitive for slightly larger orders, e.g. 1kg, this makes the shipping cost much more economical.

      Cheers

      • Or alternatively maybe you can look into discounts for ‘subscribe and save’ orders. Eg set a reoccurring order for weekly/fortnightly/monthly and save

Ordered a few times, very good, would recommend.

Hi, can you do plain chilli biltong (no garlic) and if so what's the minimum order?
    Thanks

    • +1

      Hi,
      Thanks for your interest.
I regret the only plain chilli (no garlic) version we do is the Chilli Snapsticks:
      https://biltong.com.au/products/biltong-snapsticks-stokkies-…
..which we sell in various different weights, e.g. 100g, 150g, etc.
(We don't do plain chilli in the soft / traditional biltong).
However, this is something we are working on and hopefully we can introduce soon.

      Cheers
