    Do Soniq make anything worth buying?

    It doesn't look like retailers still stock soniq. Are you guys closing down and wanting to offload crappy HDMI cables and random soniq remotes?

      I have bought a bunch of soniq things, I have their 65" and 75" as well as an older SD TV. All going strong. Given how cheap they are, worth considering for that alone.

      That said, I would think twice about buying their refurb stuff, their QA on stuff they sent out was pretty back, they sent me twice two TV's that were clearly faulty - though they were fine with sending out replacements.

    Thank God I read the comments and found I'm not alone, I was starting to feel a bit rude with all the stuff I was thinking when looking at the flyer.

  • Darn.
    No set-top boxes.

    Thats all i need that id trust from budget brands right now. Ah well.

    Man the prices are tempting.

    If only their response to my firmware issue wasn't "buy a new tv".

    But it works, it just resets on channel 9.
    "Buy a new TV"

    I can compile from source; can I have the original source (it being android, and open source…)
    "No" .

    Can you tell me which company wrote the firmware? Perhaps they'll help.
    "No".

    i hate both the mentality an ewaste of;
    'Our software has a bug, so buy a new one'.

  • OP, where can I find a manual for the A46FV55-500?

    I can't find the manual online, also the specifications listed do not show it's power usage.
