And CBA rewards- i have get $15 cashback with $75 spend.

      • I got $10 off $50, not as good but still nice!

      • Do you have to have credit card with cba? Cos I just have other accounts not credit

        • Yes, it is with a CBA credit card.

        • I got it with Debit Card

          • @josepet: Where do you see the offers?

            • @[Deactivated]: There are Commbank offers on the app… I didn't get this one myself though

    • +2

Even if you don't, you can probably fish one out with the shake and shop game.

I got both 10x point for liquorland and firstchoice in all three games play. End up settling for the 10x liquor as i need something from there.

  • +1

Waiting for the same deal but at liquorland

    • Same deal for liquorland at shopback.

      • Yeah sorry, I mean same deal through CR, I don't use SB.

        • Why?
I use both. If you understand what you are doing, you get about the same service from both.

Just use which ever one that is going to save you the most money.

      • Forget ShopCrap

        • +3

I've found ShopBack much more reliable with tracking purchases

Their online stock selection is frustrating these days.
Sucks when they don't have the beer you want online, so you compromise and pick differently.
To then find a huge stack of them sitting there on the shop floor when you go in the store.

Has anyone ever tried to cancel their click & collect, swap products in store - Assuming the cashback is likely lost?

    • Boags for $50 = $40 will do me, fullsized bottles and 1.5 std drinks

      • It's a shame they're not selling the best Boags you can buy. Boags Red. Naturally they don't export it.

        • never tried it but heard it's good

          • +1

@G-rig: Yep. I hate Boags Draught, like Premium but Red is easily the best. St George is also good if you can find it.

            • @Clear: +1 for St George. Solid beer but rare

              • @Jinxinferno: I haven't seen St George for years.

                Do they still make it?

                • @antonthenet: I had one in Tassie maybe a year or two ago. And I've heard tale of it from time to time. But I haven't seen it in Melbourne for maybe 5 years or more.

      • +1

        only 1.4 these days :(

        • +1

          Prob ok still :)
Better than 1.2 and 330mL bottles
Otherwise got a docket deal for Heiniken for $43

      • -2

        Boags premium is good

    • +3

What I find terrible is that most good beer is only in 4 pack! Can't add a carton online so I'll shop elsewhere for beer.

      • +1

        Agreed!

    • their online store needs work.

  • Can the rep confirm that the cap is per order not per account?

    • +2

Hi, it's per member account. I will ask the mods to add these terms to the OP. Thank you :)

During the 6 hour promotional period, 20% cashback for First Choice Liquor is capped at $25 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 4:00pm to 10:00pm AEDT 25/11/20.

  • How do I work out cashback amount?

    Looking at:

4x Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky 1 Litre (takes me over the $200 threshold for 25BLACK promo code) = $256-$25 = $231

Then with cashback is it $210*0.20 = $42 = $25 cashback noting the cap?

Therefore works out to be 231-25 = $206 at $51.50 per bottle, which is very decent…

Someone pls let me know if my maths is very wrong

    • You got to deduct GST from the total amount first then time that by 0.2 but in your case it doesn't matter since it well over the cap limit.

That is why i like the shopback 22% back better since it is just actually 20% of the purchase amount.

      • I thought i did that with the $210x.20? = 42.. but as you said, doesn't matter as its over the cap anyway

        • I thought i did that with the $210x.20

I didn't notice you did that already. Your math is correct.

          • @highdealer: Thanks for verifying lol, will grab a few bottles this evening

  • I got a email saying $25 off on $200 or more spend. Code 25BLACK. Ends midnight.

Not sure if this stacks with Cash Rewards.

  • +1

Lots of rum, gin and whiskey on sale

  • -6

My last purchase for 22% still had not tracked through… What guarantee is this?

Dispute had been lodged but attesting Can take 2 weeks…

    • +2

Cashrewards has not run 22% cashback on FCL. Are you referring to a competitor's deal?

  • +3

    Aiming for…

    CommBank - $15 off $75
    CR - $25
    Coupon - $25

$65 off $200 spend is really not bad at all. If all the stars align, that is…

I'm a simple man. Bottle of Baileys on sale for $29 - %20 = $5.8 from Cashrewards - $5 off $25+ from CommBank = $18.20 bottle of Baileys. Works for me!

    • Rookie mistake, take GST off the purchase price before calculation discount.

      • Oh no, you're right! So I'm only saving $5.27 with cash rewards :( What am I even doing with my life?

        • Yeah I saved myself the trouble this tube and went to BWS this time with a shopper docket

  • Can't seem to login to fcl, is it just me?
No matter what I do it says:
Oh oh! Looks like there was an error. Please try again
    Tried in multiple incognito browsers

  • Cant checkout. Netcode never sends

  • Love how FC allow you to stack codes in the order you want. 25BLACK applied first, then Coles team member (thanks to a jnr willyroo) - then $25 from CR. Got some rather nice goodies at a rather low price. CR tracked sale at full price less GST.
    Thanks OP (and TA)

  • +2

Thanks OP - grabbed a bottle of Caol Ila 12YO Scotch Whisky. Currently on special at $89 (RRP $104), after CB of $16.18, total outlay is $72.82 (~30% off RRP).

    Comparison: Nicks/Dan Murphys $99

  • Aiming for…

    CommBank - $5 off $25
    CR - $25
    Coupon - $25
    10x flybuy
900 point with purchasing Smithy's Easy Drinking Beer Can 375mL

$70-75 isn't bad! can someone calculate how much discount am i getting if shop $200? :/

    • I joined flybuys for this and I think the 10x flybuys is targeted cause it didn't come up :-(

      • +1

I won it in their game ::)

    • +1

I bought the Smithy's. Don't bother. Tastes like Budweiser or Miller. A 4.2% American style larger.

Also a bit like Carling. Flavourless.

      • So should be good :)

  • -1

    Thx Clear/TA/CR.
Got some Seppelt sparkling shiraz ( Tyson Stelzer's 2018 best sparkling under $30 ), 4 Pillars gin and Pimms - $50 off with the code and cashback.

Already spent my xmas liqour budget on ebay plus 20% off sale @boozebud..I'd prefer upfront discount, after various issues with cashbacks not amounting to what i expect..

    • the ebay plus 12 reds winter warmers were good, for $50

  • Would be great, but my local store only stocks yobbo beers. Bairnsdale. No choice.
