  Why would you need business class for a 8 hour flight? Over before you know it.

    i've checked from Singapore -> Melbourne only.
    and it seems like pretty much ALL fares from Dec and Jan have business rate locked in at $748SGD, which is about $577AU.

  awesome, just got 2 tickets myself.
  by the time you add check in luggage and meal/drinks to economy, this works out at least a couple of hundred bucks cheaper :)

  I believe if you book via the Singapore Jetstar site it works out even cheaper with the whole exchange rate.
