With the arrival of Xcloud preview and happy with my first experience with the platform, time to take the next step. This was the best I could find compared to Amazon and eBay listings.

I can confirm this will work with the new series x controllers, i have one and using with new x controller just fine
It doesn't block the charge port or anything like that?
Website says "Designed to fit all Xbox One Wireless Controllers except Elite Series 2. Use 2.0 version for Xbox Series X|S, Elite Series 2 or Xbox One wireless controllers."I'm figuring there must be some issue somewhere…
Yes, it does block the charge port, it will be an issue if you want to charge and play simultaneously. However i just use rechargeable batteries for the use case with charging and play simultaneously is not possible with this mount. Hope the info helps.
Had mine arrive today, excellent product
Or if you want to save a bit of money, you could get this one from EB games - https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/xbox-one/255868-powerwave…
I have 2 of these, work great no issues so far.
For anyone chasing a Series X/S one, I've found this one for preorder at JB. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/powerwave-controller-phon…
Just keep an eye on ebay microsoft store, i believe i got this from ebay microsoft store deal for $20 delivered.
I was one of the lucky members to be accepted by microsoft project xcloud and this was really handy to play on one of my old android device. Good quality plastic. The lowest I saw is 20% off on eBay MS store.
I got one for $22 on Amazon not long ago. Harvey Norman also had a similar price at the time.
I nearly bought a similar thing a few weeks ago but didn't because I didn't think it would fit the SX controller perfectly,
So instead I just bought a cheap lil Bluetooth controller off eBay for 10 bucks and it does the job fine, and now I have a spare controller bc I can use it in remote play on Xbox as well as my real controller, and performance is really good on my connection. I'd have to advise people do something similar tbh.
Note, I don't believe this fits the new Series X|S controllers.
