Are these really that good? Just got a model d, but willing to try this out if there’s a better Black Friday deal

    • +4

for clapping noobs in valorant, yes.

    • Just wait for the Model O Wireless, I am guessing you are right handed as you have the model D, the MOW for the price is way better.

  • +1

new lighter 60g g pro x just came out if anyone was wondering

    • +1

Based on Logitech's website it's going to be around $269.95 - maybe a bit less from retailers. Unless you desperately need/want the17g weight reduction, picking up a discounted original GPW is a much better idea in my opinion since not much else has changed in the superlight. If they hit $140 again you could basically buy 2, attempt a weight reduction yourself and have a backup in case you screw up for the same price.

      • +1

The new one has its weight reduction based on led removal, sensitivity switch removal and right side buttons removal.

Not worth it imo! Diminishing returns big time.

        • Agree. Prefer my G Pro. Yes, it's a great mouse with a Logitech price tag.

    • +1

I was really interested in this, but turns out the G logo doesn't light up anymore in the G Pro X Superlight :(

      • +4

        Oh No! Anyway

        • Yeah, lighter weight at the cost of rgb.

  • the logitech superlight is coming out in december so hopefully these should drop in price

  • can anyone comment on Lightspeed models. i was looking for something low latency but notice this isn't branded that way. i know it's just marketing but whats the difference here?

    • +3

You won't be able to notice the wireless latency with these, their wireless tech is brilliant

    • Lightspeed is just Logitech's proprietary name for their particular wireless tech, the latency is so low that's it's imperceptible. Here's a video that goes into some detail if you care.

    • New models have no RGB, I'll wait for them to bring out an RGB version of the lightweight model lol

  • +2

Okay this is a god damn steal.

Waited nearly a whole year for a cheap price, this is it.

  • +2

What's the difference between the East European and the West European version apart from $50

    edit
google says its just the writing on the box

    • I think the batteries are different in both versions.

  • As someone who has played csgo, this mouse does the job. It’s amazing light weight and you don’t have to worry about cable management because… well it’s wireless 😂

  • This vs a G305? Is the price really worth it.

    • Yes, unless you're a big fan of the G305's particular shape. GPW is 19g lighter, has 2 extra side buttons and most importantly doesn't have to have batteries swapped in and out. At this price I think it's a worthwhile upgrade.

    • I have both. I personally prefer the size and shape of the g305. I made it lighter by using AAA energizer ultimate with a battery converter.

    • No contest g pro

Dayumm, this mouse cost more than an ultraboost on sale..

This mouse is notorious for double-clicking issues - I'd do a bit more research before committing to purchasing one.

    • +1

Logitech released a revised version of the current (non superlight) GPW earlier this year with different switches which is supposed to have fixed the double clicking issue. I haven't come across any significant data that demonstrates this one way or the other though so I'd take that with a grain of salt. From what I've heard Logitech's customer support and warranty regarding the double clicking issue are meant to be excellent though so if you do have an issue it shouldn't be too much trouble to get it replaced. If this is the revised version I think it's a solid deal, if not I'd probably avoid but I doubt anyone will be able to confirm prior to receiving the item and checking the serial number.

      • +2

The process is terrible. It took me a month and I had to call them a few times a week to constantly remind them I was authorised for a refund but I haven't heard back from them. My online support ticket was many pages long, with them constantly apologizing and me constantly reminding them.

I only got resolution when I started making many posts on their social media accounts about it and pasting in my support ticket showing what a joke their customer service was being to me.

  • +4

Alright guys just a heads up, if this mouse has the same click switches as the G903, I would not recommend buying it, I have gone through warranty 2 times to get it replaced with a brand new G903 and all 3 have ended up having the same problem (double clicking, click not registering or holding down mouse buttons it would release like you let go) they are using really cheap switches, there are many YouTube videos of people replacing the switches, but yeah if this mouse has the same switches as the G903, AVOID.

    • There's 2 versions now - the original GPW which used Omron 50m switches (same as the G903) which are notorious for the double click issue and a revised model that was released a few months ago which I believe uses Omron 20m switches that supposedly do not suffer from the same problem.

      • My G903 Hero came with Omron 20m switches.

    • Just cancelled my G903 Hero order, thanks for the feedback!

Bought this mouse a while back off FB marketplace just after any wireless mouse… and it's amazing! Awesome battery life, lightweight and accurate. Highly recommended

  • +1

For those worrying about the double click issue, think of it as a potential positive and not a negative and I can tell you why.

You can purchase a mouse, get a full refund when it starts double clicking within a few weeks and then solder in new switches that cost a few dollars. They just ask you to throw away the mouse, they know how bad and prevalent the double clicking issue is so it's much cheaper for them just to authorise a refund than have to pay for return postage and a new mouse/refund. If you ask for a refund there's a high chance of getting it. You may have to spend a month making threats about going to consumer affairs ect. or in my case that and making posts on Logitech's social media accounts.

That's what I had to do with my G604 that started double clicking a week after purchase. I mean it would have been nice not to have spent a month chasing up Logitech to get a resolution, to have them actually called me back on one of their own ~10 deadlines, but the end result of a G604 for the cost of a few Kailh GM switches was worth it.

Screw buying Logitech in the future though, that warranty process wasn't friendly. It took a month with many online support ticket updates, phone calls and social media posts needed.

    • +1

Late reply, but when I went through the warranty process a few months ago they asked me to destroy (I used a hammer) the mouse on video and send it through.

      • -2

So rather than just show a video of you putting it in the bin (and taking it out after), you actually destroyed it?

I personally wouldn't be telling other people this, it doesn't show a high level of critical thought that you threw away something that others would have paid for and repaired, rather than you contributing to e-waste.

        • +2

Was just a heads up for people who don't have a high level of critical thought.

          From Logitech
"4. Proceed with disabling the device on video, it must be done in a fashion that it will no longer function afterwards."

          From your post
"Screw buying Logitech in the future though, that warranty process wasn't friendly. It took a month with many online support ticket updates, phone calls and social media posts needed."

I agree. The warranty process was silly, I went with the hammer to speed up the process. Not sure if "put it in the bin" meets "no longer function afterwards", but I'm just a simple man.

          • -1

@alldayer: Logitech don't require you to send the mouse back to get a replacement or a refund. They ask you to destroy it AFTER the warranty issue has been accepted before they send a replacement or refund. Throwing it away to join mouldy bread in a moist garbage heap is the destruction of any electronic goods. It's no longer salvageable at that point.

They can ask all their like, and you can tell them the garbage men already came after you were told to destroy it by throwing it away. If people think it's worse to lie to Logitech than contribute to e-waste I think their moral compass could use a little calibration. It makes no difference to Logitech in the long run besides less of their faulty products contributing to pollution, because most people wouldn't purchase another Logitech mouse that is known to double click after having done so.

  • Great mouse for climbing to radiant in Valorant.

  • Oh man, very tempting. Is it worth getting one of these or getting a Model O Wireless instead?

    • +2

Either way it's a bit of a dice roll - buy the Logitech and potentially end up with double clicking issues or buy the Model O and potentially end up with an example of Glorious' sketchy quality control. If you care about the weight difference, 11g isn't staggering but it is noticeable in my opinion. Ultimately the shape is the most important thing so if you know you're comfortable with one or the other already go with that. Either way I'd probably wait and see how the QC on the Model O ends up. Also between it and the GPW superlight launching the current GPW could possibly get even cheaper.

  • I have had this mouse for about 6months now heavy daily use (daily driver + fps gaming). Could not be happier. Really great battery life, very fast charge time. Great fit and interchangeable side buttons are great for me.
** this is the first wireless mouse I have owned in 10 years. Unbelievable how good the technology has gotten. Also I paid $219

  • -3

using a $8 kmart mouse, its clicking well, cant complain

  • +1

damn paid 220 not too long ago. Absolutely love it though, use it with my powerplay so i never have to charge it.

  • Damnnn I was waiting for black friday to try and nab a deal on Razer viper ultimate but it's like $80 more… I'll probably wait a little longer and hope black friday reduces price.

  • -1

Got this mouse for $70, insanely good mouse

    • How'd you manage that, gift cards or something?

      • I bought a different logitech g series mouse on eBay and got sent this, the ebay order also now shows this mouse in my purchase history at like $70 aswell, extremely lucky.

To make it better, the middle mousewheel was double clicking so they sent me another for free!

        • want to sell me your double clicking middle mouse button one? Lol..

  • Any alternative cheaper less than 70 bucks light mouse like this?

  • I'm a little surprised this hasn't received more votes. Is there a better mouse on the market? I must be out of the loop…

  • Stack with 10% zippay promotion, then 12% shopback amazon flash cashback and we have a winner. Finally bought this mouse #patientgamer.

  • Waiting for it to get closer to $100.
