  Cricut is cool, but check out the Brother ScanNCut dx to see if it can meet your needs too. I think the Brother machine is a bit more advanced in terms of ease of use.

  I honestly thought this was like a soda stream for white wine… Was kind of disappointed.

    Yeah, the Cricut Maker in Spotlight sold out pretty quick. I think Costco still has stock and Harvey Norman also started selling the Cricut Maker

      The Costco one comes as a bundle, for an extra $75 ($650 delivered), you get the Champagne one above, plus the following:

      Debossing tip and housing
      Colour multi pen set
      Premium vinyl removable variety sampler, 20 sheets
      Every day iron on sampler
      Basic tool kit
      Vinyl transfer tape
      True control knife kit.

      Dunno how much those are worth separately though

  Can any of these machines make printed stickers? Either with an integrated printer, or by registering to markers from (say) inkjet printable stock?

    yes they sure can, software will print reg marks for cutting. you can get laser printable vinyl which works well.
