If your not stacked with peripheral/expansions, 650W is more than enough for 3080/6800xt. Even 600 would work fine in most cases. I reckon 750w would be fine for a 3090.

Yeh like i said it'll probably work fine if you dont OC or put it with a 10900k (also OC) … :) the power scale vs for a little performance gain on both are insane .. lol Still wouldnt even bother trying to fit a 3090 in an ITX case.. loll
Optimum Tech tested an 10900k @ 5.1ghz + 3080 with a SF600 Gold, worked fine. YMMV
@Mister Popo: Yeah worked fine for 1hr what about 4 years? Never should run anything thing electrical near 100%
I went for the 750 purely for the fan curve. Fan doesn't kick in till 300w. For the extra 30 odd dollars it's a no brainer.
+1! This is the same reason why I chose 750 instead of the 600. The SF750 also has sleeved cables (not sure for SF600) so it is better for my ITX build. So far the SF750 has been very quiet. Its practically 'invisible'.
@Davesday: The platinum SF600 and SF750 versions have sleeved cables. The gold versions are non sleeved.
yes but I think you should be aiming to just under double the wattage you need since PSU's are most efficient at 50-60% of their maximum load.
Optimum Tech has tested RTX 3080 on Corsair SFX 750, 600 Platinum, 600 Gold, 450 and NZXT S650. Although he didn't test RTX 3090 on these PSUs this should give you some indications of what to expect if you run 3090 on SFX 750.
**Results: SFX 750, 600 Platinum, 600 Gold and NZXT S650 can run the card without tripping (running BF5 at 1440p) whereas SFX 450 not surprisingly did not pass the test.
yep watched that :) … as i have a silverstone 650W in my NR200 so needed to know what is the usage at the wall if i chose any of those cards (if we at some point in the future we can buy them as decent prices hahaha)
750w is fine for 3090. Im currently running my Ventus 3090 OC and its absolutely fine and stable
In time for my O11D Mini build!
Do you have the case already? is there somewhere that has this in stock?
I haven't got it yet but its on scorptec website. Only a day left til it drops
The part I was most stressed about, cheers OP
Argh! Missed it!
Sold out.
check umart rn just picked one up
I have this PSU and am looking at getting a 6900 xt. How does everyone feel about this running at stock clocks for now? (was involved in the 850w cooler master product recall). This website says you can get away with a 700w for the 6900 xt:
https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/amd-radeon-rx-6800-xt-…Im ticked that I missed it.
I was tempted by this, posted 1h25min ago and already out of stock. Fwiw I run a Corsair SF600 Gold with a 3700X + RTX3080 in an NR200 and rarely see over 400w at the wall, but I am undervolted.
Umart has this at $239 for anyone that still wants it, same price i got it from them in September

Isn't that one plus shipping?
But its out of stock so it could be any price they want it to be lol
Was in stock when i posted it
are you sure, I've been checking it for days and it's been that price and out of stock the whole time
Has anyone else that got this received theirs yet? Been almost a week and hasn't shipped. Have tried emailing and received no response.
just called them on Friday and told me this is a special order, should ship on or after 30/11.
Thanks, they just got back to me tonight. Told me it would be "Early December"
I got mine about 3 weeks ago. Must have been some in stock and some incoming.
@havabeer: I ended up cancelling on the 9th as there was still no confirmed shipping date unfortunately
no doubt it will work but i think they recommend 850 for the 3090 i believe… this is perfect for 3080 and 6800XT both are more viable in an SFF build.. :) Great PSU though!
