Pretty much. You redeem the PS5 version so you can uninstall the PS4 version. Still need the disc to play.
And then if you're unlucky like me, your PS5 will just keep installing the PS4 version to your hard drive for no reason whatsoever.

Yep, the addon expansions. Except maybe not some cosmetic micro transaction items.

You get all the DLC from that season pass.
If/when they do season pass 2, you will have to buy that pass to get that season's DLC.

This looks like an awesome deal but trying to resist the urge to buy it as I want to finish Demon's Souls and then with Cyberpunk (hopefully) hitting soon this may not get the time it deserves and end up in my pile of shame such that in a year's time I'll see it on sale and realise I should not have purchased it now….. at least this is what part of me is saying, whilst the ozbargain demon sits on the other shoulder saying 'buy it! buy it!'

Both. They are one and the same you just select the version you want to play on the PS5.
All content (including the season pass) released on PS4 should be accessible on the PS5 version too

not yet. the whole 'gone gold' game is pretty buggy… again.
After this game, I’m never pre-ordering a game from Ubisoft. I respect CDPR for delaying things to put out something that’s playable from day 1. Bugs are alright, if they’re not game breaking. Otherwise, it’s unacceptable to put out a game with a game breaking bug in the first hour of gameplay.
