Wow what a price. I'd fill up my 700 litre freezer with this if I was in WA and not VIC. Can never have too much glorious bacon!

  Without the fat you'd just be tasting salted meat… IMHO for using to flavour up meals or to compliment a dish you need the fat to fill it out. I'd rather fat then sugar or carbs any day. Add this to a home made vegetable soup with no added salt or stock and you will see it transformed. So in short yes a GOOD buy!

  Probably, sigh. It baffles me the amount of ham and bacon that's imported. We've got all the land in the world to rear pigs yet our shelves are full of European pork products.
