it's probably the only coffee that these cups might actually make taste better…
I can't say I have noticed any after taste, nor have my friends. Did you wash it with hot soapy water first?
I'm pretty sure the cups have a polyethylene coating to seal the plastic. This is inert and should give no odour or taste to the coffee. It's the same product used to coat paper cups to keep them waterproof. Do your traditional paper cups taste of plastic too?
