  • this or xiaomi?

    • I'd wait for reviews. This price doesn't seem that special, the Xiaomi goes as low as $450

    • As far as I can tell, the main differences will be the curve (the Kogan one will be quite round), and the inclusion of HDR (which the Xiaomi doesn't have)

      • Small but maybe handy in built speaker too

    I always think Krogan.

    • I blame the reapers.

7ms response time. This looks like a slightly more updated version of the Kogan kamn34fxqula https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/kogan-kamn34fxqula which has a slightly lower 90% DCI-P3 color gamut rating but has 5ms rsponse times

Oh and the curvature is different too, old monitor is 1500R, this is 1000R. This is a huge difference.

    • At least they are telling you the real speed and not faking as other companies.

What if they aren't tho. lol

        • Yeah ol' Kogan aren't exactly known for honesty haha

In this case the panel must be IPS haha

1000r?? I swear they won't be happy until monitors are cone-shaped.

    1 HDMI. Meh

Display port the way to go for 144hz…

    • Nobody needs more than one HDMI on an ultrawide. Get a 16:9 if you're console gaming mostly.

  • 7ms and 300nit hdr. Not sure about that…

  • This or the Gigabyte G34WQC? Waiting for the latter to go further in price then I'll pounce.

    Brightness 300cd/m²

"HDR" Hmmm. Yeah I'll pass on buying it for any HDR claims

I only today sold a recently purchased kogan 29" curved for more than I pre-purchased it for. And had delivered this

For the money. I am as happy as a bloke can be.
Now. Where's that Techfast PC ?
I think for what you get and how it performs the Xiaomi is a compelling option.

    • It will be $450 on Sunday
