  • High yield investment.

    • what does that mean ?

  • dam, I won a weetbix cricket set, although its not posted as yet… don't think i can get this deal past the other half…
on a serious note, along with this post and another on cricket bats, I never knew cricket bats could be this price and more in price..

  • I only bat with 8 star bats

  • feels 1-1.5oz lighter than it's dead weight.

    Hmmmm…..

    • Yep. What the hell is that lol.

      • It means that due to the way center of gravity is placed within the bat, it feels lighter when picked up, compared to something that would have its center of gravity placed elsewhere. It may or may not be a good thing, depending upon the style of the batsman. Some hard hitters may want it lower and vice versa.

        • Thanks. I'm intrigued. Please tell me more.

So what is "dead weight?" Does it involve measurement of a moment? (As in the physical qty). And if so where is it measured from?

An oz in 2lb8oz is going to be very hard to notice I suspect. How is that even measured?

          • @fantombloo: I am not 100% sure but I am assuming the dead weight would be just the weight of the bat itself lying flat on a scale?

  • Any good for toads?

  • +1

I could buy this and resell it it 5 years time in as new condition the way I play
