None extensive
Do you mean non-exhaustive?
I don't even know what I mean at the best of times.
Question, what is the difference between an Air Fryer oven like this, and a fan-forced oven?
To me it looks like this is can sit on a bench top and doesn't require it's own circuit to operate. If you have an oven already I don't see the value compared to say a phillips air fryer which cooks food fast which is the actual benefit of an air fryer.
This or the large capacity Aldi one?
Just checked. The aldi one actually 23 liters (my mum got one). So this one is bigger, apparently.
Is she happy with the Aldi one? That one has the pizza function (what ever that is)
This or the Kmart 3 in 1 air fryer oven that is impossible to get your hands on at the moment?
I saw two at castle tower Kmart last weekend
I have been trying to find some around Chadstone or nearby in Melbourne. No luck still. They are even sold out online.
My mum went to the Coles in Northcote VIC just half hour an ago and there was 6 in total left.
@chalky: It was showing as 1 available in Forest Hill but when I called it was all gone. Will keep trying. Thanks for the heads up.
I got the Kmart one about 2 months ago and love it….it does the job well, better then our other more expensive air fryer. I would say go the Kmart one and these cole's ones will sell out quickly with there best buy promotion
I will keep trying until I can get my hands on a Kmart one then. Cheers.
this doesn't have rotisserie and cage for fries like the kmart one
This is basically a fan forced miniature oven?
Isn't that what an air fryer basically is, except perhaps with a 'turbo' fan?
An oven that can reach high temp very quickly
Managed to score one today.
Picked one up today.
Did pizza tonight using the pizza mode with all default settings (temperature, duration, and shelf position).
Cooked fast, no pre-heat required, even topside cook (no need to rotate) so things are looking good.
Base was undercooked though, will need to experiment with settings.
IMO this one looks much nicer than the Kmart 3-in-1 Air Fryer Oven, but it's also larger, I almost didn't buy it when I got to the store and saw the box size.
Need to also consider clearance for heat, IMO it's too large to suit most kitchens.
The back appears to get hotter than the top and sides so having clearance behind the oven is particularly important.
I've wound up repositioning my oven to the corner of my L shape bench in my butlers, sitting at 45degrees, in order to get better clearance behind the unit.
great review, thank you. Was also considering this but I think it will take up too much space
Can you cook a pizza at only 45 degrees? ;)
Is this it? What is the normal price?
