Looks like ASOS have extended their 30% off everything by adding a new promo code.

Tip to decrease prices even further - use a different country’s store (and still getting delivered in Australia). I’ve found the Turkish store using Russian Rubles being the cheapest option! You can get a chrome plug-in that checks this for you on every item, or there is an asos price checker website.

Cash back won’t be eligible, but the discount compared to AUD is around 10-20% so more than the current cash back amounts!

just click the flag icon on top right hand corner of the desktop website, and change to another country, then purchase via there.
You will need a foreign exchange fee free card as it will charge you using the other country's local currency.

There are websites out there (google: ASOS price checker) and it will let you paste in the ASOS URL (any country's url) and it will search all of ASOS (all countries) and find you the cheapest country for that product.

I wouldn't be surprised if cashrewards do a 20% cashback soon, however you have to check every item individually because some items are cheaper from the UK some from Russia and some are cheaper from Australia.

Generally though, you can save around 10% +

    • Shopback did one yesterday so hopefully!

  • Does this country hack affect returns at all?

    • +1

      No it doesnt.
But beware that even though it will let you use coupon codes. Their gift cards are region locked, so you cannot purchase Aussie Gift cards and use it at a different region's website.

I don't need anything but upvoting for the trick, thank you! Looks like you can go to codembo.com and paste the product link then it gives you prices for different countries.

Bought a pair of puma a couple days ago that were already on sale with an extra 30% off. Thought of buying again and returning the other one but it has went back to full price :(

Haven't shopped at ASOS in so long, forgot the price checker exists p.s. some regions cannot ship to AUS :(

  • +2

Standard shipping $22 for a sweatshirt

    • -8

      shipping is ridiculous

      • +3

It’s free shipping over $100. The clothes are coming from the UK. Your reason for negging is ridiculous.

  • Edit: Codesium is no longer working :(

Codesium is what you’re after. Enter the item and it will show you the prices for different ASOS websites.

      Codembo.com works as mentioned above.

how does the hack work, i tried but then at checkout get "X country does not deliver to Australia" - tried for multiple countries including Turkey as sampled above but to no avail

    • +1

Would also like to know if there is a work-around

    • Turkey definitely works for me, ordered stuff yesterday and today. Weird!

    • Try UK, that worked for me, saved an extra $10 or so.

  • Too bad returns gift cards are account and region locked…

  • You'll also need a credit card with no international transaction fees as you're going to be charged in a different currency

  • Thanks OP! I forgot to pick up something off ASOS before 7PM today, got worried, then saw this post.

Lol OP is a legend! Never did I think to try order in Rubles 😂😂👍👍👍👍

Hopefully Bankwest isn’t getting suspicious about all the transactions I’m doing in Rubles!

Is it just me, is shipping way too expensive at ASOS?

    • Agreed. It used to be free. You can usually just over order (eg, multiple sizes of the same thing) and return it for free! Free shipping and you get what you want.

i've bought a bunch of shoes and had to return them because of my lowkey giant feet, so i'm on thin ice with asos. they sent me a warning email telling me to sto

        • Create new account and start again

        • What did the email say? As I’m planning to return quite a few.

          • @melty: Hi theg00s3,

We know our customers love our returns policy and we’re really proud of it – but we have to monitor how people are using it in order to provide this great service for everyone.

Every year, we’re forced to deactivate a small number of accounts when we see people misusing the policy. This only happens as a last resort, but we’re emailing you now to let you know that your account is one that has been flagged as having a higher than average number of returns.

Of course you’re allowed to return items you buy from us, but we do want to make sure you’re shopping the best you can. So check out two of our amazing features to help you nail your next ASOS haul: Fit Assistant, which recommends the best size for you based on what similar shoppers have kept; and Style Match, our visual search tool (just look for the camera icon in the search bar).

            • @theg00s3: Thanks! That’s crazy, I used to order a lot from asos and retuned what I didn’t like. It shouldn’t matter because I’m keeping some items…

              • @melty: yeah it's really weird. honestly i haven't even bought from them since that email, just in case something doesn't fit

legendary Op! Got a jacket which generally costs $480 for $255 with the turkish site workaround, almost 50% off :-d

    • Nice one dude! I haven’t bought clothes in a while, spent about $800 and saved about $150 compared to paying in AUD

      • sorry for the dumb question but its still add up to be 50% with AUD, isn't it? as 30% off on the code and another 20% with cashback?

        • 20% cashback is long expired as far as I know.. and it was capped to $20 or $25

          • @Ghogger: damn, might have rush into buying when I see my cashreward flashing with 20%. life of a oznobrain

  • +1

Title needs to have shipping info

  • I'm so mad I haven't been using this payment method this entire time!

  • To be honest, cashback is always a risky as well

literally all the small cashbacks always track, and the last cellarmasters which was 30% and worth about $140 to me conveniently didnt track lol

    • I did pretty good with a Lenovo cashback in June… got something like $550 back off a laptop purchase.

  • You can get a chrome plug-in

    Don't use Chrome - it's a Google botnet.

  • cant wait for the next +20% cashback

Have a look at these shorts. Set the country to UK and the colour is listed as "Beige". Set the country to Australia and the colour is listed as "Kangaroo". Should we be insulted? https://www.asos.com/au/only-sons/only-sons-chino-shorts-in-…

  • Cashrewards also has an additional 20% cashback now too

  • Just wondering if everything sold at Asos genuine? I just bought Columbia jacket, but worried that it might be counterfeit item.

    • Everything is genuine.

      • I wouldn't say everything comma some major retailers have been caught out unfortunately selling fake products even though I don't believe it was intentional.

However the brand would have to be huge, for I believe manufacturers to fake the product.
