$0 Selling Fees on The Next 10 Items You List and Sell ($0 Insertion and Final Value Fees) @ eBay

200

Most likely targeted. (DONT BLAME ME ON THIS BEING TARGATED)
I went to the Selling/Sold Section on the eBay Website and saw this great deal
Great for anyone who's got that offer with 10% giftcard with Mobile/Console Sold. (They'll be essentially getting bonus giftcard, on top of selling for FREE)
This gives 10 Free Listings, Until 20 December Starting From 10 November

  • The requested page could not be found.

  • It's very strange as I had this offer yesterday in my seller dashboard, but when I click the link it says it is 'invitation only'… eBay click bait for me…

    • I never got any invitation either. But as it shows in the selling sold section as promo eBay is meant to entitle it to you

    • Same for me but I contacted customer service. I gave them the item numbers that I listed and they confirmed that I will be credited any fee for those as for some reason the offer wasn’t working.

      • me three.
The promotion was showing active but when i listed something it wouldnt reduce the 'amount remaining' on the promo. Customer Service assured me anything listed in the promo time frame will be honored

        • I'm pretty sure it only reduces the "amount remaining" once the item is sold, not upon listing. I asked the same question to eBay and they said the same thing they said to you (when I had listed an item). I only noticed the "amount remaining" changed once I sold the item. So the catch might be that the promotion for free FVF is between 1-15 November. You listed the item within these dates but the item doesn't get sold until after 15 November.

  • It's confusing, the Terms and Conditions say only ONE item - "Pay no Insertion Fees or Final Value Fees for ONE item you list and make available for purchase in a single category during the Promotion Period".

    • Basically saying every one of those 10 items sold must be a seperate listing.
(Not like added quantity to one listing)
      And not a bundle listing

That's what i think of them saying that

      • Yes, but also the listing must only be listed in a single category to be eligible……most people only list in a single category anyway.

        Quantity x1
        Category x1

  • Invitation only (targeted)

You can only apply one offer to selling usually, as in it won't give you 10% back and allow free sales. I've got both offers, but when i list, it only applies one of the two.

Thanks for information. Seems like a fair deal although not a great deal then

      • That it is, both deals are pretty much 10% off, this deal means you save immediately instead of having to feed a voucher back to the cookie monster and spending real $

  • +1

It has automatically appeared in my seller account this morning without having to click offer link.

      Likewise over here. Thanks OP.

    • for me its using the standard free 40 insertion ones, not the 10 free insertion and final value
edit: same thing as many others have posted on here

  • Most likely targeted. (DONT BLAME ME ON THIS BEING TARGATED)

dont worry we blame evilBay, always, forever and ever

  • I blame you for this being targeted.

Even you get this offer and accept it, make sure you check your account summary regularly, my recent experience is eBay just continue charging the Final Value Fee even you had the offer activated. you have to chat with customer service to get the fee waived. This happened not just on this kind of eBay offer also occurred on the 2 free listings via Gumtree offer.

  • Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only.

  • When I clicked the link and hit 'Accept Offer' it said I wasn't eligible, but then I checked my seller hub and it's been applied to my account anyway (with a start date of 10 Nov 2020 at 0:00 AEDST). Weird. I'll take it though.

    • Same here :)

They REALLY want people to sell at the moment. My buyer account (not my main seller one) has all sorts of offers!

Warning, to anyone that has this in their eBay Seller Hub under "promotional offers", you still have to activate it by clicking the link. I had the same issue where it was in mine however it told my "Unfortunately this offer is by invitation only".

I then went into eBay chat and the rep told me he had 6 people before me say the exact same thing and that ill have to manually go back to eBay chat with item numbers that i sell to get credited the fees.

    • Thanks mate, same boat here. I listed a couple items last night but they weren't credited with the offer. I'll hit up chat.

edit: spoke to chat, they said they're aware of the issue. Gave them the item #s I've already listed for credit once they sell. Their advice was to wait a day or two before listing more items and it will hopefully be fixed. I've got more items to list tomorrow night so I'll see if they work…will keep a list of all the item numbers incase it's still screwy.

  • Screw eBay

  • This promo was showing in my account but has now disappeared.

  • Yes me too. Very strangely disappeared from my eBay this evening

  • +1

Shit disappeared from my account too.

I think they realised the mistake or something

  • Hopefully will be able to talk to chat representative and show them screenshot of eBay app of the selling promo's section.

  • I have been waiting for this to re-appear.
Ebay sure have made a lot of mistakes with their promos recently

  • I had the same promo appeared and disappeared.
This morning i noticed 2 listings for free promo in my dashboard.
But again, when I clicked "accept offer", a messages came up. "invitation only".
    Not happy!

    • +1

I get "Unfortunately, you can no longer sign up for this promotional offer because it has expired" with the same offer (shows expiry as the 26th Nov)
I think their coders have lost the plot

    • Am in the same boat it disappeared! disgusted

      • i had it but also disappeared

  • so i contacted ebay chat and they reversed my FVF for an item i sold yesterday. He also told me i could list the remaining and once they sold they will credit me for that too. I was prepared for a battle as it was quite a substantial FVF but the rep was very understanding and accommodating.
