has MSI released Ryzen 5000 compatible BIOS for it?
They have an UEFI release this month, but doesn't specify if it adds support for the new CPUs.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWKThen on this page they say it's compatible (or that's what I understand)
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK#su…But it says N/A for the version of UEFI which brought the support :S
Also curious to know as I've just purchased a 5600x and was looking at buying this particular board.
The Agesa 1.0.8 came with Ryzen 5000 support, with Agesa 1.1 containing full support. Both of which the newest bios for that board have.
This board comes with BIOS Flashback so you can easily update it without a cpu installed if this is old stock.Tier S on the Motherboard list, so def a good option if it has the features you need
https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/joo0s8/ryzen_5000…Thanks for sharing the tier list info!
This or the Strix B550F ?
