Almost purchased from Sparesbox at 20% off an inflated normal price on ebay.
Also tried to get Anaconda to price match as they had 3 units in stock at my local store. They wouldn't price match to Sparesbox as they dont have a physical store.
I'm assuming they WILL price match Repco.
The unit itself is different, 330 vs 370. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the 370 has a speaker in the base unit as well as the handset compared to the 330 which only has the handset speaker/mic.. The 370 also comes standard with magnetic handset mount whereas the 330 a hanger mount, I believe all the other functions are the same.
Just orders the 370 4wd pack.
Had to do a lot of digging to work out the difference.
Comparing both “packs” not just the uhf unit itself:
330 is smaller unit. Plastic make. No speaker in the box. Lower spec aerial.
370 is slightly larger unit. Metal box. Has speaker in the box as well as the mic. And comes with a more heavy duty aerial. Both in construction and the spring base. Also has magnetic holder for the mic.
You can get the magnetic mic base for about $30. And the price difference for the aerial versions is about $50.
So all in all. The 370 is a better buy.
If you don’t need those things then the 330 is still a great unit.
Actually it's not the same antenna either. 4704 in the 4WD pack vs the 4707 in the outback one.
