A new coupon that's active and working now sitewide so it probably won't last for long. In my testing it seems to work for orders $30 US and above.

What do you buy? Mostly looks like junk

It's a marketplace full of sellers. Take a look at current and previous deals to see for yourself. It's a good place to pick up some cheap electronics from brands like Xiaomi.

      • Thanks, I think because I'm new all the products featured look like generic wish stuff - the link is very helpful :)

In comparison Wish is quite bad as AliExpress cracked down on fake products a few years back and all the sellers ran off to Wish instead who allow it. Much like DHGate who also allow fake products.

          • @Clear: DHGate has some really good fakes though (clothing related). Just gotta know which sellers to buy from. Think there's a reddit post about which sellers.

            • @Munki: Yep not all fakes are that bad. Lepin is always a good example as in 2018-19 prior to shutting down, they had their quality about 95% as close to Lego and they were sometimes releasing long discontinued sets like Fort Legoredo.

            • @Munki: I can vouch firsthand that some clones are better than the real thing, but it's more about trying to pass off clones as authentic more than anything else.

        • Wish is a junk site. Aliexpress is a subsidary of Alibaba and many online retailers buy their gear in bulk here, increase the price many fold and sell it elsewhere like ebay and Amazon.

There's still some junk to be found, but fakes/clones are always stated as such, not passed off as the real thing. AliExpress is strict on that. The site has a lot of quality brands much cheaper than anywhere else. The other thing is it's one site that has genuine reviews from people all over the world and a lot of them have photos. Aliexpress encourages and even rewards people for sharing genuine reviews with photos and videos of products. You can find reliable products and trustrworthy sellers weeding out the cheap trash very easily.

Last but not least, it just has a lot of cool tech stuff you just can't get anywhere else let alone for that price. You'll browse the site then find yourself going down the rabbit hole and end up "teching up" your house and buying fun gadgets at a fraction of the cost.

  • Thanks Clear!

  • Worked for me, thanks OP

  • Had to be over $30 excluding postage. Thanks!

  • Thanks, used it. A lot of sellers have switched over to shipping that costs $5 rather than the usual free or $1. Anyone else notice that?

They're all shifting away from China Post as the packages pile up for months and months in the processing centre leading to increased claims. I often pay a little bit more for ePacket as I find that to be a little bit more reliable.

      • Ah, that makes sense. Lets hope its just that and doesn't become something permanent going forward

  • Might use this to buy some Feker/fake Holy Pandas. Thanks OP

  • is this expired? I just tried with 40 usd order + shipping and it says not valid….
