They are popular in Asian countries or communities.
Not among those I know either! Popularity must be in decline.
plus shipping from $15
That's a bit expensive for shipping.
Yeah, Agreed but they are based in WA.
15 for me in WA
ouch.
Shipping $22.50 for me.
Apricot and green tea ftw
No idea how you're getting $48.90
It’s pretty lame how the prices are listed
$29.95 for 1kg (BOGO for 1 more bag), but GST is added when added to cart, so it is $32.95. 🤨
$15.95 Shipping to Sydney 🤯
chinese tourists love that shit, never seen anyone else eat it
- Shipping is ridiculous
- Original crunchy is the only one worth getting and isn't BOGO due to stock
- 500g OG Crunchy for $19.95 plus expensive shipping or a quick Google reveals $24.95 for 1kg on ebay
- Also found soft almond half price ($2.31 for 100g) at woolies in Perth CBD but doesn't seem to be stock at any other stores…you may get lucky.
I bought some soft ones and they were chewy not soft. So be warned.
Why is this an Australian thing? Locals dont eat them. (at least not amongst the people that I know)
I suppose, like VB, not many locals drink it, but apparent sold in Aussie bars overseas.
Eh? heaps of people drink VB…
Its not considered a trendy beer (since its not an IPA/XPA or niche beer varietal) but its most certainly a very popular beer.
You may be thinking of Fosters which is the "iconic" Australian beer that no Australians actually drink.
Rubbish quality and over priced.
Do you have any alternative that isn’t rubbish and more reasonably priced?
For those living in Perth, I believe these are cheaper at Asian grocers. As the shipping kills the deal.
I LOVE this stuff, crunchy especially and if you’re Perth based like me and can collect, it is an amazing deal with collection and no shipping costs, close to $15/kg. Family owned company has suffered with COVID
No 1kg BOGO crunchy left.
I see nougat at all the duty free or souvenir shops, yet I've never seen anyone eating them.
