OzB Exclusive: $3 Bonus Cashback with $3 Spend at Any* Online Store - Including Woolies GCs @ Cashrewards (Activation Required)

8410

Hi everyone. Another bonus for our members, but this time a little different as it includes the purchase of Woolworths Group Gift Cards at up to 5% instant discount. Please read the terms and activate the offer prior to shopping. Once activated, shop as normal via the 'Shop Now' (Store) or 'Activate Now' (Notifier) buttons on Cashrewards. Valid for purchases made from 12:00pm (noon) 31/10/20 to 11:59pm 31/10/20 (AEDT). Thanks for your support as always. Please stay safe, and enjoy :)

  • To be eligible for the AUD $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion via the link in this post, then shop as normal via any* online store on Cashrewards, including Woolworths Group Gift Cards.
  • Transaction must be made between 12:00PM AEDT 31/10/20 and 11:59PM AEDT 31/10/20.
  • Bonus is eligible when making a qualifying purchase of AUD $3 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping).
  • Bonus will not be added to your Cashrewards account at time of purchase. It will be credited separately as approved by 09/01/21.
  • Bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  • Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards mobile app, Cashrewards Notifier, or mobile browser.
  • Bonus is ineligible for any in-store purchases.
  • Sales may report to Cashrewards ex-GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $3. You will still be eligible for the bonus.
  • Selected stores may report orders with multiple items as separate transactions into your Cashrewards account. These are still eligible.
  • Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  • Bonus is ineligible if you purchase from a 0% cashback store/cashback rate, if you purchase an ineligible item, or if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected. *Individual store cashback terms and exclusions apply (see Amazon & eBay especially).
  • Cannot be used/stacked in conjunction with any other activation bonuses that may be current at this time (separate qualifying purchase required).
  • Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Ensure you disable 3rd party plugins and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost (feel free to try our recently updated mobile app). A common question is "will I be eligible for the bonus if I purchase anything from an Amazon category at 0% cashback, or on eBay using a code"? Answer is unfortunately no (all standard store T&Cs apply). Don't forget to refer-a-friend for $15 each. Tip: add your code to OzB’s randomiser. And check out our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Get free money after 10 weeks, great. :-)

  • +3

When did WGC become 5% off again? I thought it was gone for good

    • +3

They're now up to 5% now. See rates and full details on the link below :)

        Oh massive sadface

      • -1

Can the 5% cards be used at Woolworths?

        • +2

The 5% ones are store specific.

          • @whodidthat: Have found this thread, not sure if still relevant as it's from 2014

Yes, all Woolworths store specific gift cards (e.g Caltex Woolworths, BIG W, Dan Murphy's etc) are WISH Gift Cards and as such can be used at any Woolworths owned business. Have used Big W Gift Cards at Woolworths plenty of times, no problem.

    • +2

The Woolworths/Wish cards are no longer 5% off except for some membership only groups.

      • Not all are 5%

        Ah, you changed your comment.

  • Will it work in amaysim?

  • +1

Thanks OP, got a $50 Woolies gift card for $45 after cashback 😀

    • What how? Isn't it only 4% for woolies supermarket.

      Nvm: I can't math

      • -1

        'Your offer has been activated
Shop now and get your bonus'

      • He is including the $3 cashback and $2 discount applied at checkout, hence counting $5 discount in total.

    • +1

Same! 10% off, can't complain about that.

  • +2

    Any*

me looking for the relevant asterisk

    • +5

Bonus is ineligible if you purchase from a 0% cashback store/cashback rate, if you purchase an ineligible item, or if an order is cancelled, changed, returned, rejected. *Individual store cashback terms and exclusions apply (see Amazon & eBay especially).

  • +9

Thanks OP, got a $5 Woolworths egift card for $1.80 including the $3 cashback.

    • -1

Good discount but inconvenient to use. I would buy minimum $20 generally.

      • +2

Can't you add more cash at the checkout if you want to spend more?

      • +6

        Use them online not inconvenient

        • Yeah, can use multiple gift card online. And it let u finish the smaller one first in the order of entering (I hate that some stores automatically revert to bigger gift cards leaving us with multiple little balances :()

      • +1

You can use multiple gift cards at both self serve and attended check-outs? Just takes a few extra button presses.

        • Save a few presses and buy a bigger denomination.

          • @Neoika: Only to spend time making sure you groceries add up to an exact amount?

        • +2

Also with the Woolworths Money app you can see how much your cards are worth, makes it dead easy.

          • +1

@CEO Rachel Jake: +1 for the woolies app - you can directly add to the app via email link and now they have added barcode functionality also so no need to type in those large numbers.

      • Incorrect use the Woolworths rewards app. Can stack GC to the app. I have over $900 in mine.

    • +1

Just got $10 Woolworths egift card for $6.60 including the $3 cashback

  • Is kogan mobile plan eligible? Such as this: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-prepaid-voucher-co…

    • The trxn will be tracked, but I have not expd one time approval yet. Never had approval problems with Qantas/Velocity.

    • +2

      Is kogan mobile plan eligible?

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/kogan-com

Cashback is ineligible on Kogan services, mobile, internet, credit cards, energy, super, cars, money, all insurance, home loans, travel, trade-in, gift cards.

Please always read individual store terms. Thanks.

      • I won't disagree with Rep, but the listed things all have individual sites (which is the real meaning). Never had approval problems with Qantas/Velocity when Kogan was not listed on CR.

        • +1

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. All terms we have on site are given to us by the stores and their affiliate agencies. Terms are almost never identical for cashback sites vs rewards points sites. We just need to abide by their rules :)

  • Anywhere to buy Bunnings GC for discount?

  • +2

will it stack with this offer ""$20 Bonus (Min Spend $20, Excluding Woolworths Gift Cards) @ Cashrewards"" ?

  • +1

    Wonderful deal. Thanks OP.

  • Best and easiest thing to get is
    * Woolies eGift card ($5 card @ $4.8-3 (4%) Via woolworths egiftcards)
    Or
    * Some as hell thingie (one or multiple) from eBay as always (prefer Aussie Stores and business)

@superforever: Wait why no gift cards? The t&cs say

Cashback is eligible on purchases paid with gift cards.

            • @incipient: Yes if you buy from one of the categories (literally anything) and pay using a gift card you'll get cashback.

But you can't physically buy one with the bonus.

  • It doesn't appear in the portal when you click onto rewards anymore.

Does this mean it won't add the bonus? Can the OP please check>?

  • Anyone got their egiftcard delivered yet? It's been 30 mins I haven't gotten mine yet

    • +2

If it's first time purchase, can be "up to 48 hrs", in my experience, new purchases get delivered after 2-3 hours..

If it's not a first time purchase, should be delivered 15 mins

Or, there can be Woolies eGift system issues (has happened in the past) where it gets massively delayed to 24 hours.

      • I bought a GC last night and took 2 hours.

        Not new customer here

    • Slowest I've ever experienced…almost 3 hours so far.

  • Nice, just buy a $3.50 Woolworths giftcard with this haha

    • WOW, max the benefit. Never knew one can buy any amount of Woolworth gift card.

    • Not sure why I got negged, this is how you maximise the benefit. Actually around $3.20 will do.

      • Didn't neg you. Thought you had a good idea. I would do the same instead of spending half an hour looking to buy something cost $3.
Edit: just did the same. :)

      • Just upvoted you. :)

      • Coz it is not possible to buy that amount. Obviously, it can't be put it into practice.

      • Forgot to say I can't buy $3.5 Woolworths gift card. Min is $5. How did you manage to buy $3.5? Just curious.

        • Minimum is $5, just got one.

      • It's because minimum $5 purchase!

        • Yea, Minimum is $5, just purchased a $5 GC.

    • I tried to, but it said the minimum is $5.00

  • +3

Thanks, bought another watch battery $3.80

  • +7

First time my Woolies E-gift card has been delayed coming…must have been Ozbargained lol.

    • Yeah same, mine normally arrive within 7 to 10 mins

    • Yeah, mine still hasn’t arrived (or tracked yet) after an hour or so, for Dan Murphy’s.

      Probably just slow today.

    • Yep still waiting for mine as well.

      • Received at 7.33 pm so all good.

    • Me too. Weird.

      • +1

Guys, maybe give them a call to ask why the delay?

For queries regarding the purchase of Woolworths Gift Cards, contact Woolworths Customer Contact Centre on 1300 10 1234 (Mon-Fri 9am-7pm AEST, Sat/Sun 10am-4pm AEST), or email [email protected]

    • Bought a GC last night, took 2 hours to deliver. Delay prob not related to CRs promo

    • +1

Some spooky thing is going on I bet 😜🤣🤦‍♂️

  • Why when selecting "Woolworths eGift Card" (not Wish Card) does it still say: "Redeem at Woolworths, Dan Murphy's, BIG W, BWS, Caltex Woolworths & more!"

I thought Woolworths eGift cards could now only be used at Woolworths?

IGNORE: As its just a CR "across the board reference all available cards available" rather than specific to Woolworths stand alone card.

  • +2

Got Amazon $50 GC from Aus Post, thanks

    Got too many woolies egc

  • +5

the more you use these $2/$3 cashback deals, the less chances of being targeted for the $20/$30 ones

    big brain

    • +5

I'd rather use 7 of these $3 cashback deals and get a guaranteed $21 off rather than play pot luck with CR's targeting strategies. Even when I wasn't using it at all there was no effort to keep me as a customer.

  • Anyone know which Woolies card works at their fuel stations?

    • I know the WISH cards definitely work at the Caltex Woolworths stations (not Caltex Starmart).

  • +2

    Nice one TA!

  • Thanks OP. Perfect storm with Decathlon $20 Discount. While code will reduce $20 at checkout; spend at least more than $3 to meet CR eligibility. I.e. total over $23.

    • +1

You may not be eligible for Cashback:

If a coupon code is used that is not listed on Cashrewards.

      • $3 bonus T&C states "Bonus is eligible when making a qualifying purchase of AUD $3 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping)."

Doesn't state anything about Coupon code.

Decathlon $20 is discount code that is unique and sent to the recipient.

Not here to argue but which T&C are you indicating?

If unsure, happy for OP to comment.

        • +1

Says on the CR's Decathlon terms, that you may not be eligible for cashback if you use Coupon code on not CR website.

So your purchase on Decathlon could have $0 cash back.

Which in turns means you won't get the $3 bonus.

          I think that's what double_J meant.

          Good luck.

          • @avoidfullprice: The Decathlon store terms says "No additional terms"

The cashback tip states Gift card or Coupon (that I interpret as Generic use, open to all etc).

            Disclaimer to all:
            - May or may not qualify for $3 bonus including cashback. (My transaction tracked with a cashback great than $0.)

  • Liquorland is at it again. Can't login, can't reset passwords. Will have to wait for a fix
