    Can I brew corona beer?

    • +3

Probably just easier to set your money on fire in a pit instead.. outcome is pretty much the same.

    • Not my choice of brew but each to their own….
Easiest option is to take the kegs to a place that brews and get them to fill them…takes all the hard work out. Around $150-180 for 50L depending on what you want.

    • +2

      Probably. Every time you urinate.

Save your beer money for something decent; Corona is extremely cheap beer, sold to Australians for a ridiculous price, because we're stupid.

Not even $1/bottle in the US: https://www.frysfood.com/p/corona-coronita-extra-lager-impor…

Since people are being flogs, yes. You can. But a) not with this, and b) it's one of the harder styles to brew, because you can't just hide any screwups behind a mountain of dry hops.

Is this a bargain or advertising???

  • +2

good luck with your business. however not sure how this is bargain, i think kegland offers cheaper price..not sure what configuration is same as that but looks to be ~$900-950 from kegland.

very expensive, around $800 + shipping from kegland.

  • What is the cleaning like for these between kegs? Any real advantage of two taps versus one if you only drink one beer at a time?

I'd never really considered one of these but I do like tap beer over canned/bottled. Is it similar (enough) to pub draught?

  • Or if you're the real DIY type, spend half that much to convert a full size fridge with two taps.

    • Keezer > Converted fridge.

Not a deal. Same as Kegland, but more expensive

  • Wow, my brother picked his up last week for almost half the price!

not quite. you'd have to check what other equipment/components. e.g. co2, kegs… maybe add like $300. but still a lot cheaper than this "deal"

I'm disappointed waiting for Keg deals that were going stale during the pandemic to turn up cheap .
Never eventuated and probably people can enjoy the stale beer they are serving now .

    • +2

Lots of places turned to doing growlers instead

    • I know for a fact some places sent their excess back to tooheys so they probably ended up somewhere that opened up first.
Also if it was kept cold in the coolrooms untouched it’s fine

    • A lot of places did growlers and squealers very cheap. A few local breweries here even pooled 2200L together and turned it in to moonshine for charity at the local distillery.

  • small fridge, big price
