If you're into Amiibo, this is the cheapest these have been since Amazon temporarily launched them for $33.71. Hopefully someone gets some enjoyment out of this deal :)

Cat Mario & Cat Peach Double Pack

As for the PS5 Games…

Some updates to the previous deal I posted. Ride 4 is now down to its lowest price as far as I can tell.

Call of Duty is also now down to $78.

For the full list of PS5 upgrade games check out my previous deal.

Also, don't forget the pre-order price guarantee. If the price drops between order and release, you'll pay the lowest price. Also no deposit required for pre-order = pretty good. If you decide you don't want it from Amazon eventually, you can just cancel whenever.

Also, fun note. It seems the cost of the headset briefly dropped to $156.78, so those with that preordered will have a slightly cheaper amount now. Also, the DualSense 5 dropped to $105.72, so that will also be cheaper if you've pre-ordered.

  • Hey mate,

Loving this list you have created!

COD is now $78 at Amazon so you might want to update

    • Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback :)

And thanks for the reminder about COD. I noticed this the other day but someone beat me to it. I've updated it in the table!

  • +1 for the write up effort.

    • Cheers :) I keep this table up-to-date as I catch new discounts as well.

  • Seems like Amazon are really going in hard on the PS5 market.

Lowest prices plus price match guarantee, why order from anywhere else!?

    • +1

Day 1 delivery is a good reason to. Also, people could be forgiven for not wanting to support Amazon and go with smaller businesses.

I mean, I'm ordering through Amazon, so I don't feel that way. I'm also sure that was a rhetorical question, but here I am answering it. Sorry, haha :)

      • Appreciate the effort you've gone to with this table, good stuff.

I'm a bit skeptical on the day 1 delivery though, the games I've looked at, Demons Souls and COD for example, have a banner at the top saying that orders may be delayed. Understandable during the current climate. I have a few Amazon AU vouchers to use, but don't want to pick up my console from EB and then have no games to play on release. Decisions decisions.

        • You'll have the built in Astro game plus all the PS Plus collection

          • @gaz3342: Oh of course, but I finish night shift the morning of release date. I want to go pick up the console on the way home, and then plug Demons Souls directly into my eyeballs until I pass out.

        • Hey, maybe you misunderstood me (or I've misunderstood you!). I definitely don't feel as though Amazon will deliver Day 1. So I meant the [lack of] Day 1 delivery is a good reason to [not go with Amazon]. Personally, I've ordered Miles Morales at EB Games as well. I'm a level 4 member, so assuming it gets delivered within 10 days of release, I'll just return the EB games copy and keep the Amazon copy. Or, better yet, give EB Games the sealed Amazon copy so I'm not giving the next person something used.

And basically, just doing that to take advantage of Amazon's lower prices, but also have a game to play on console launch day. I don't usually do this with new releases.

          • @Lockdude: I think I misunderstood you! I kinda just glimpsed over the comments and saw Amazon and Day 1 delivery in the same sentence.

I did consider doing your trick too, buying from both, then returning the more expensive one/ the one that gets here late.

    • This is only 3 businesses? And 2 are barely relevant for prices. EBGames is historically always RRP and JB slowly transformed in to that as well, it's not the aggressive JB of the past.

The big price droppers atm are BigW and Target and you can often thank them for the Amazon pricing.

So I guess to answer your question, if you don't want Amazon to just be price matching EB at RRP, you'll want to send some money to the businesses actually creating competition, not the ones that almost exclusively just price match.

  • Thanks for making the price table!

    • No problem! Glad it's enjoyed!

  • Another good post. Doing all the work for me, and I appreciate it.

  • Nice one champ.

  • +1

You need to send this to the pricing analysts / CEO's of EB games and JB HiFi …

    • I am sure they are more than aware.

Not everyone can afford to compete on price like Amazon.
