    Spending $441.94 on Banggood?

    BOLD MOVE.

    • +11

You must be new. People have spent more at Banggood for Xiaomi ultrawides and smartphones.

    • +2

Don't just don't .. these ***kers have been refusing to honour their stated refund policy and playing 'wait wait wait' bs for three and a half weeks after shipping a faulty item

Not the same. The link you gave is barebone and doesnt have any harddrive/ssd or memory.

      • -3

True. I would still spend the $150-$200 more for a PN50 for better warranty and better hardware.

        • +10

Always can spend more and get better.

        • +2

It doesn't include Windows 10 as well

      Definitely this

Local stock and you can upgrade with ease

  • Is this powerful enough to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020?

    • +4

Integrated Vega 8 GPU with shared video and system memory of 8 gigs. Nope.

you'll have better luck sticking a GTX 1650 Super into a used Core i5 Dell Optiplex desktop for around the same money.

      • quick one mate,
I have one Optiplex 3040 at home (8GB ram) as media player machine ,
you recon it worth to upgrade to 16GB ram and GTX either 1650 or 1660? i wanna be able to run recent FPS games on it. (don't care about RT or DLSS)
        Would the i5 handle?

        • I have a Optiflex 9020 with an i5 CPU (4570). Upgraded with an SSD, 16GB RAM and a 1050ti. Really happy with how it runs - can play all ESports titles, even Warzone at 60fps x 1080 on low-med settings. Definitely worth the upgrade.

More demanding titles really heat up the CPU + GPU, BattleTech on max graphics has occasionally crashed on me (heat caused or power caused?).

My only concern would be the PSU. Not sure about the wattage on the 3040. 9020 has a 255W CPU, and it handles fine.

          • @ultramagnus88: usually a combination of both. Hot components lose efficiency and draw more power as the temp increases, so they demand more power from the PSU. If there is a current spike that the power supply can't handle then it's likely to cause your system to crash.

          • @ultramagnus88: PSU is my issue :(
3040 has only a 180w power. I checked and 1650 runs on minimum 75w but not sure if system can handle.
            what you guys think pls?

I am currently using and commenting from this little beauty that I bought two months ago. So far it is very good and fast for normal web browsing, Youtube etc. I haven't played any game with it though.

Chris from tech tablets has done an excellent review of this unit ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Oq-Ag28MwE

The exact same box is also available from Aliexpress with a name "Chatreey AN1" with multiple CPU configurations.

    • What brand of RAM & SSD is there in it?

      • +1

Intel nvme and no name DDR2400 RAM

In my expereince, Banggood are scammers who don't seem to honour their stated policies on defective items

Might as well gamble with buying it through aliexpress, as it can't be worse

  • Looking to pick something similar up to run accounting software like quickbooks and or myob. Think this box can install simple programs such as those?

  • Got excited and thought it said 4500U
