has any1 seen the wusthoff knife set for cheaper locally that actually seems like an awesome deal!
Going by their past sales there will be some very good deals. The problem is they have extremely limited stock and the helpful older lady sales person will bait and switch you all the while making you think she's giving you the deal of a lifetime. I applaud their marketing ingenuity - get women who look like your grandma to pull the old baitch and switch instead of some greaseball pimple faced sales clerk.
Moral of the story - get in VERY early if you want to take advantage of the properly good deals and if they are sold out, walk away.
got into my local store at 9 only two people in front of me and the wusthoff knife set had mysteriously sold out
[mod:comment removed to avoid misunderstanding] . I already had a knife set but queued up before 9.00 at Chatswood Westfields to get a Wusthof set. They had 9 (ad said 12 per store).
I'm fairly sure there were 12 at Melb. Central today…in saying that I saw 3 different people double up on it
still over priced after 80% off, buy from US, plus postage still cheaper than king of knives, they should call themselves king of overprice.
wusthoff set, I think it is cheaper from costco.
The Wusthof knife block set looks like a good deal.

I didn't think this was as good a sale as some of their others, but acouple of decent buys there.
i read that as "most things won't be discounted at all"
