yeh i'd love to know too. Just had a quick look, but i dont think im associated with any of the eligible groups.
I found this topic in the forums, hope it helps you:
Do you have membership with any union? if not, then this is another method
I created a SunSuper account 2 days ago (free and didn’t have to link any super into it) and applied for commercial membership straight after and was approved in 12 hours.
I get access via Professionals Australia membership
Dont forget AX6e equipment is now on the way. 6 khz. Dont rush
Isn't the main difference speed? And when exactly will these routers arrive?
The main difference is the huge amount of additional spectrum that it brings (a full GHz), adding 29 more 40MHz channels and 14 more 80MHz channels, current 5GHz band only has 6 80MHz bands including DFS, and 12 40MHz channels. For anyone who needs to deploy dense WiFi networks, or a home router in a densely populated area, this is a blessing.
What the hell is a gaming router 😬😬… Sorry not techy enough
one that looks like an alien space ship / facehugger and has lots of flashing lights i guess :)
Same as a regular mid range router router with a fancy look and jacked up price.
Great price!
New version is expected in December.

However there are hardly any wifi 6 devices available yet outside of IT equipment. 6E devices will be a long time coming.
Actually I'm not 100% sure about the connection between those 2 modems as one is TP Link and he other is ROG but they have very similar names.
The one you linked is Asus. the AX is for new wifi standard and 11000 is throughput. https://www.networkworld.com/article/3309439/80211ax-preview-access-points-and-routers-that-support-the-wi-fi-6-protocol-on-tap.html
i just want a good router and experience with quest2/virtual desktop :(
You got to wait for 6e just incase quest 3 has wifi 6e.
i just want a good router and experience with quest2/virtual desktop to play Alyx.
$634 at Wireless 1, not sure where you are getting $749.
because $749 is the products RRP. That doesnt mean that all retailers have to sell it for that price though, hence the $634 at Wireless 1 :)
How does one get membership to The Good Guys Commercial?
