  • What is the normal price?

    • From another listing on amazon it looks like $243

  • +1

That seems to be a pretty good deal. 2 weeks between charges and storing up to 500 songs (jog/gym) which is a big sell for me.

  • Also is it just icy white? Trying to find a black one

  • People online complaining it's mostly a fitness tracker, not a smart watch, limited apps.

I read it has GPS and above comment says it can store music. So good for jogging I guess.

What do you think braintrust? Any big reason to go this over the honour band 5 at $43? I am intending to carry a smartphone everywhere.

    • Probably not worth it for you in your case then. I'm hoping to go for runs without a phone on me and only carrying the watch with earphones.

      • Thanks for the reply. Nice to know I basically understood the use case for each device :)

I bought the white strap option.

This isn't really a Smart watch. It's a fitness tracker that looks like a watch. You can't install any apps like on a true smart watch. I knew that before I bought the watch and was OK with it, I can't imagine I'd use any gimmick apps, but you might.

For this reason battery life is one of the best on the market.

Fittness tracking stats all seem OK and I like the interface.

Lacks clock face options, only a few nice ones available unless you're a 12 year old girl.

    Now for the bad:
I bought this watch primarily for the sleep tracking but I can't bear to wear this watch at night.

I've worn watches all my life and I've never worn a watch that causes me this much pain. I don't know why it's so uncomfortable. No matter how I adjust the strap it causes a constant pain in my wrist.

I'm going to buy another strap for it hoping that will improve it, but sadly the options are very limited.

Also you have to give a lot of personal information to Huawei including location information. You may not want to do that if you're pro human rights. Saying that Silicone Valley seem to be going that exact same way so you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

  • I don't think any Huawei watches work with Strava :(

    • there are 3rd party apps that sync data between fitness tracking apps. I sync sHealth with google fit

  • any way to get the above watch face for wear OS

  • Anyone else still waiting for the watch to be shipped?
