[Pre Order] Beats Flex Wireless Earphones $79 Delivered @ Apple

200

Apple have just released these new BeatsX replacements at a very affordable price relative to the $150+ previous models.

I’ve owned the BeatsX for nearly 3 years since their launch, and have been using them nearly everyday.

Most comfortable in-earphones I’ve had and now they come with USB-C fast charging and 12 hours battery life. Sound quality on previous model was decent and apparently improves here, so definitely a great deal for this price.

Preorders open now and delivers October 22nd.

Apple are going to sell a lot of these.

    • You know this before user reviews?

      • Yep.

      • its an upgraded version of a product that sold heaps at the original price of AU$189.
Now they've enhanced it, and effectively halved the price. It's even a significant drop from the most recents beatsX price of $149.

No need for 'user reviews' on this.

My beatsx got replaced twice in 2 years and the final replacement one died one month after warranty period. I will never buy another beats product and strongly recommend others to save their money.

I had a similar experience. Repaired (one earphone had lost most of it's volume) at 6 months (refused a replacement) then the problem reoccurred 6 months later so they were replaced. After another 6 months the same problem again so they went in the bin.

    • Ours failed just out of warranty, and the repair cost through Apple was about 90% of what I paid for them so they went in the bin.

This may seem like a good deal but I certainly won't be buying. I have had better experiences with random Asian brands of wireless headphones.

  • Shame with the 2019 and onwards Beats X is that they no longer come with the carrying pouch or the wingtips. They don't even sell separately. The wingtips for me personally are absolutely essential, but I just hope these earbuds are the same size so I can reuse them.

On the other hand, these new ones have USB-C, auto play/pause, 12 hours battery (old ones 8) and they are $80. You'd think Apple made a typo and thought to put $180.

Also, that red on black is a great throwback to the classic beats products. Hopefully the sound quality is at least on-par with the BeatsX. If so, this will be the perfect purchase for most people.

    • Looks like note a typo but the new standard price worldwide with $50 in USA:

    • I agree! Wingtips are my favourite part and you can buy them through apple support for $8 delivered if you’re out of warranty. Should be free when you got warranty. I’ve bought many wingtips :)

      • Ah that's great. A little expensive imo at 8 bucks, but at least the option is there.

        • They give you all sizes of wingtips if i remember correctly.

  • This is RRP right? Will wait to buy when my third pair of Beatsx inevitably carks it

Look awfully like the $20 ones sold on aliexpress.

    • More like aliexpress cloned these : )

This is actually a huge deal, good find. This was not even shown on today's keynote, nor any apple rumours/news sites.
Not as advanced as the H1 or W1 chips, but the original beatsX still sell for $50+ on the second-hand market

    • correction:

Not as advanced as the H1 or W1 H2

      • hi can you let me know which ones are the h1/h2? what brand?

  • Would these be better from Amazon US
