  • Would these be good to use on a VR headset?

    • Not sure if they're the same as the ones I bought with my original CV1 but I read they were fine and I had used them for years.

Wouldn't a small spray bottle of IPA and a re usable wipe be more cost effective and environmentally friendly?

      India Pale Ale?

That's always good to have on hand 😂
        But I meant isopropyl alcohol

Reusable cloths aren't good for camera lenses, they tend to accumulate dust and grit - can scratch the lens while cleaning it as a result.

Also some lens coatings are soluble in IPA.

FYI, ALDI sells a 200pcs pack for $5.99 from 10 Oct. Not sure the differences between them.

Bought a pack from Aldi yesterday for $5.99, seems to be good. Noticeably less fogging on glasses while wearing face mask!

    • Those Aldi lens cleaners always seem to sell out, at least at my local store. I've tried three years in a row to get that special buy, and it's never in stock by the time I get there.

      • oh? I bought 2 packs last Saturday afternoon in VIC but havent used them yet. Hundreds were left in store at that time, so I thought they were not popular as those gardening and kitchen specials which were OOS in mins in the early morning.

        • Thank you! I tried again this year, and they finally had some of the blue 200 packs boxes for $6.99, yay!

          • @nickj: yay! I used this a few times, it did reduce the foggy on glasses as Krraviji mentioned.

  • When I go to Checkout, the price changes from $11.30 to $20.04. I am a Prime member.

    • Fixed. Operator error. Price corrected at "place order".

  • Cheers, missed out on the last one

I have lens wipes on my glasses. It's called water and detergent.

    • +1

That's what I do too! I wash it in the sink with my dishes.

      • I use water and cheap coles detergent (one little drop only). my glasses are sparkling clean.

  • Aldi has it for $6.99

Already memtioned above but yeah check your local Aldi first before purchase this.
Got 3 packs couple days ago. 600 pcs would last me 4ever.

  • Do you guys get stuff delivered to parcel lockers?. this product says "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location." when i try to have them delivered to parcel locker….

    • Use home or business address please.

  • Just need a deal on a Zeiss scope now.

The Aldi one is very good. It's 6.99 for 200pcs special this week.

What kind of ozbargainer are you guys, real bargainer will hoard free wet wipes from KFC

  • For those in Vic and close to Epping Aldi, they had three large boxes full of wipes at lunch time today.

  • Just received mine.

They don't clean my glasses and electronics very well and leave smudges. Feel like the liquid they're soaked in is not 100% suitable and there's not enough of it. Yet they do smell like proper cleaning chemicals.

I don't really understand how people are happy with them.

I've been using a little of dishwashing liquid and water, but years ago I had some single wipes like these and I could clean my glasses, camera and phone, then sometimes proceed to my laptop. Right now I've just used two Zeiss ones and my glasses are still full of smudges and specks. Doesn't seem like they have expiry date on the box.
