Would this be suitable for a dashcam?

  I looked into it recently.
  
  I had a policy of "U3 only", and therefore was looking at these cards for dashcams as I thought the "endurance" cards were just re-labelled and a marketing gimmick. However, it appears that this is not accurate - apparently they do make the endurance cards differently, are more durable and reliable in hot/cold weather and can handle more lifetime writes.
  
  The Endurance cards are U1 only and that put me off. However, if the use case is solely a dashcam, it makes sense. Even with U1 cards, a high bitrate 4k stream from a dashcam provides plenty of overhead. And you still get fast read speeds when transferring from the card to your computer/device.
  
  So, in summary - yes, it's worth getting the Endurance cards. Samsung endurance cards are the best apparently (over Sandisk).
