Cheers! Awesome deal on the 2tb extreme pro SSD. Just grabbed one :)
Could someone weigh in on these vs samsung t5/t7?
They are abit bigger but still a well preforming ssd, the T5/7 are abit smaller and have a nice metal feel, My only worry is the long term rubber feel (which is part of its drop protection) would eventually decay IMHO but they dont dent/scratch as easy cuz of it :)
Will these work well for an xbox one s?
yes
Nuts I think I missed the Pro 2TB since it's now $400+
was hesitating too, now I am sad.
Grabbed the 1TB for my Series X! Many thanks!
Keep in mind, usb storage isn't quite as good for the series x.
Yep, per the DF video I will just be using it for Xbone games and back compat.
Those missed Amazon deal https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/sandisk-ex…
not as cheap, man
It's the same price as Amazon OP mentioned. Pro Portable SSD 2TB $339

Great find! I wouldn’t think OW would match Amazon’s sold out price. Looks like they’ve also matched the prime day prices on the extreme version at the time of this comment. Extreme pro 2tb is the real bargain though.
There is a V2 model coming, so i assume they are clearing out V1 stock. That said, you need usb 3.2 2x2 capable ports to take advantage of the V2’s speed improvements. The V1’s 1000mb/sec is plenty fast for me at this price.
Exactly. I managed to get one from OW just in time, even Amazon was sold out… Extreme Pro 2TB for $339.
OW price now back to $622. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/sandisk-ex…
Extreme Pro 2TB $339 seems like a good deal to me. The cheaper 2TB SSDs are around $280, if you want an external case you are paying close to $300 in total. This SSD is an all in one with faster NVME drive inside and a rugged exterior.
When I trade my PS4 Pro, I'm going to want an external SSD to move the games too and use on the PS5. I'm not sure whether to get this now or wait till just before I'm trading mine in Jan 2021.
