Not the cheapest I've seen on Ozbargain, but it might be the cheapest Australian stock I've seen. IMO using an Australian seller for postage and warranty is a big plus for this.
Yes, the cheaper robot vacuums use VSLAM for mapping rooms, which is a fair but less accurate and therefore cleaning is less efficient - more overlaps, possibility of gaps that don't actually get cleaned, reduced ability to navigate around obstacles etc.
The more expensive models use LIDAR, which is more sophisticated and accurate. You can identify them by the little "lighthouse" on the top of the machine.

Hmm, never heard of this business before, they look fairly new, not a lot of eBay feedback. Wondering how I'll go with any warranty claims.
I had a chat with one of the owners on their website chat and they were very helpful. They are brand new, apparently. Still trying to get their Google ranking up - it took me doing a deep dive to find their website after seeing their business name on eBay.
They proactively reassured me regarding Australian warranty standards. Not that it's any guarantee, but I appreciated the customer service and am quietly hopeful that they are setting themselves up as a reliable Australian seller.

Just to go on record, the OP of this deal (Chadlington) ordered his S5 Max from us on 12th Oct. We shipped it on 13th Oct and the same was delivered today morning. But that's also because shipping was within same metro (Perth).
