  • Prime day sale? This camera isn't even on amazon!! How can it be a prime sale when you aren't selling this on amazon?

    • Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wanted to say that our webshop has special discount during the Prime Day week too. I edited the title.

      • hey OP.

        I've PM'd you.

        please check.

  • Any chances you are selling just the dome cameras only? keen to add to the last deal i purchased thanks!

  • What's the NVR hardware number?

    • RLN8-410 according to the link.

      • Yeh. Not what I asked. That's the model, I'm curious to know what the hardware is. If its H3MB16 then you can't use it for the new AI cameras

        • Its the same NVR they sell with the AI camera kits…they only have 2 4k NVR's, both would be compatible depending on how many channels you need. If they weren't compatible, I'm not sure why they'd offer it as a kit.

          • @whitelie: They aren't compatible same model doesn't means same hardware and therfore fw available. Only the H3MB18 on the 8ch is able to have the fw updated to support AI and 6TB drives. This seems to be a H3MB16 which they have said won't be upgradable to support AI.

BTW there are 3 diff model NVRs on both the 8ch and 16ch with a bunch of diff hardware which specifies which fw they can have

is it the same price on your site as Amazon?

    • The deal price is the best across the internet.

  • What framerate are the cameras?

Edit: found it, 20fps max - too low for me.

    • Whats the benefit of having a higher frame rate?

Was looking to buy but then saw the 20fps, and thought…..is that low…

      • +1

Sub-30fps is pretty choppy. It depends how much detail you want with your cameras. This video shows the difference well enough. https://youtu.be/VHOGnVTtz1I

30fps and above allows you to see the detail in moving objects (faces, cars number plates, etc). Less than that and you’ll need to frame pause.

        • oh wow….60fps makes a whole world of difference! I guess I'll be chasing a decent 60fps cam system then….

    • maybe you can change the recording frame rate and bitrate?

Nevermind, read below and OP said you can change frame rate….maybe bitrate?

  • I needed the 5 mp nvr camera with 6 pcs.
    Any option for this?

  • great cameras, get the one with the solar panel

    • +1

      These are PoE….

      • which is powered by solar panels….your externally bought solar panels of course….so if a blackout ever happens, the cams are still running, no problem.

        • Errrr only if you have a battery that's powering your entire house?

          • @whitelie: tesla battery?

…or home made battery bank connected up to the panels?

            • @Zachary: Seems excessive to keep a couple of cameras running when the power goes out….

              • @whitelie: Do you want to see thieves taking advantage of your blackout situation or not?

  • Does this camera comes with mic (audio)…???

    • Yes

  • Can you tune the recording or cameras to >20 fps ?

    • I'm afraid you can't

  • +1

Ordered one, just in time we were looking for a decent surveillance system

    • Cheers

  • Thanks got one, was looking for a deal like this. Hope it's good, we had the eufy system in our last place, but overall wasn't super impressed in the end. Hope this doesn't die after 2 years…

  • Does this camera have Alexa integration?
Can I view this on an echo show?

    • Sorry it doesn't support Alexa

    • argus reolink 2 does have alexa support

  • Any 4k ones on sale on Amazon tomorrow?

      • When will that be back in stock?

        • In one or two months

  • Brilliant, got one!
