  This isn't the pot I'd pick to use a steamer basket on…

  In saying that though I love my Staub. Just not as a steamer.

  I actually enjoy a staub with a steamer.

  It saves heaps of energy to steam food that would have consumed more otherwise.

  I'd turn off the heat and allow the residue heat keep steaming my food until done.

  Bought this product almost 2 months ago at similar price, 258 for the cherry red set from amazon UK .

  A fitted steamer on a pot with a lid will do the same thing at a fraction of the entry price. I guess this doubles as a small dutch oven?

  Awesome deal, I've noticed the price went up today. I grab one yesterday and it was delivered first thing this morning. Even if I don't use the steamer it's a great deal just for the pot
