Does it impact credit history ?

    • They do a credit check when you apply.

    • Not sure about the impact but according to their T&C's:

      (10) LatitudePay will complete a credit check in relation to you before approving your registration as a Customer.

    • +7

For existing 28 Degrees cardholders, LatitudePay indicate no credit check is performed for existing cardholders, or at least that is in my emails from LatitudePay / 28 Degrees.

      • I got on when they offered a fixed limit based on my 28 Degrees account - no further credit check performed.

      • Strange. I never received such email. Something I need to query tomorrow.

        • Checked all my emails, couldn't find anything about LatitudePay offer with no Credit Check.

Rang them this morning, they directed me to apply which by the look of it will trigger Credit Check.

    • +1

Yes, when you apply for a loan from the bank, they will run credit check on any credit card and these payment methods (Zip Pay, Afterpay, LatitudePay…etc.)

    • +1

Latitude doesn't use equifax to run credit check for Lpay they only use Experian

  • with latitude anything is possible.

  • Thanks, bought sunbeam pie maker and a $7 item I needed for $51 Inc delivery from target.

  • -6

Shrug. 15% off TGG ebay is better (if the item is listed)

    • +8

15% off is better than potentially 33.33% off ($50/$150)?

      • -7

In most instances yes. Good guys are where I'd go for appliances, not random small stuff

Sorry if advising people of the ebay deal was a bad thing! O_o I'll keep my comments to myself and peeps can pay more.

        • +3

didnt really pay attention in Maths did ya

          • -3

@ChatCPT: Sure did. Double integrals are part of my job. What I didn't learn was how to hold everyone's hand and wipe their ass.

            • +1

@justtoreply: mind sharing whats your job?
i didnt even need to do single integral despite learning how to do triple integral at uni

              • @aboogee: Engineer. You don't have pm on so didn't explain further.

        • +2

I see where you’re coming from, and I agree that 15% off is better if you’re spending more than $333.

        • +3

You are correct if the item is over $333 but you didn't say that. What you said is all items are better 15% off when it is clearly not.

  • never used it before. is anyone using it currently, any issues?

    • Setup was a breeze. Used it once before. Was a breeze too. I paid off the balance straight to avoid any fees if I forget.

  • If only xm4 discount was website

    • Latitude pay available for in store as well. If it is available for price matched items I wouldnt know unfortunately

  • 28 Degrees is/uses LatitudePay, right? I thought I could just make a payment with my 28 degrees card and it would work, but I'm thinking that won't work and I might have to signup to something seperately?

    • +1

      Signup separately.

  • +2

Does 28 degree card comes under latitude pay?
Does TGG offer works with TGGC?

    • +1

Pretty sure Latitude Pay is their Afterpay equivalent. Separate from 28D. Default assumption would be Commercial is not included unless you can get someone to confirm it on their side.

      • I do not see option to pay via Latitude Pay on TGGC, so it is not applicable.

  • +2

Is it single use only at any of the stores? Or may I use it once at each store? Does anyone know?

    • +1

Good question, I was going to ask the same thing.

    • If the discount is provided directly in cart I would think it is going to be 1 discount per store account.

    • +2

      From the FAQ

“How many times can I redeem the offer?

You can take advantage of these offers across all our participating merchants, but the offer can be redeemed once per merchant.”

    • +2

I can confirm it works more than once on different stores. Worked at Harvey Norman and the Good Guys

  • Does anyone know if latitude pay stacks with Cashrewards or Shopback?

    • Should do. I used Shopback for good guys. It tracked.

  • Does it have to me a new LatitudePay customer?

    • +1

      No

  • Do these deals only go up to 150 or 75 or do you just get more savings the more you spend like spend 450 save 150

    • Read the promo.

  • +1

So 28 Degrees card is latitude right? So if I have a 28 Degrees card I can sign up to LatitudePay without being subjected to another credit check?

  • If this applies to GG Commercial, then $311 for the Breville Bambino Plus Coffee Machine is the cheapest I've seen.

    • Not available on there

    • Not available on there :(

  • +1

    you forgot
Bing Lee - Spend anything over $1, save nothing whatsoever

  • +3

Oppo A52 is currently $249 at TGG, with $50 off and 9% Shopback cashback should bring it down to $180.

    • is this good value?

      • The cheapest it's been is around $240 and that was with targeted deals/coupons. Just do a search.

    • Do you have any inputs on <$5 product I can add online as I have also got a Conceirge offer of $25 on spending $250?

  • New Chromecast + Switch Pro Controller for $148

  • +1

Can someone please explain what Latitude pay is, I dont use any afterpay services and have no idea how it works if i just wanted to pay off this transaction straight away. Looking at using HN or TGG offer. I received this email offer, so i must've accidently registered, but dont want any issues when making a new purchase

    • Same here. Is this something I can signup to at the store or it has to be online purchase only?

    • just used to buy a kobo at harvey norman. Sign up was very quick, needed license/passport and a payment method and got approved immediately. You can select latitude at the checkout of harvey and pay through that. After I went back to my latitude account I payed off the rest of the amount so no weekly payments.

    • Yes its a type of buy now pay later but you can pay it all off immediately afterwards if you like.

They will do a credit check though.

  • Anyone know if it works on gift cards? Harvey Norman have PSN cards, you can use Latitudepay at checkout but can't seem to find the T&C's to see if gift cards are exempt from the $50 back

  • I am looking for something that costs $51. Suggestions?

  • Does single use mean that I can only claim at one store?

    • +1

      once at each merchant
so you can use it once at each of the different stores

  • ref https://support.latitudepay.com/hc/en-au/articles/3600124766…
I have a few latitude cards but cant find the targeted email in my spam. I prefer applying via the email offer as there is no further credit check required.
If anyone received the targeted email and if its not an unique linked account url can they please PM the URL link so i can apply by logging in with my own account details?

    • Did anyone send you the URL link? I am in the same situation. Remember the email but couldn't find it.

    • +1

The email link is unique, sorry…

Subject line of the email was:
[Name], get your LatitudePay account now for $1,000 limit to spend on our FOMO PROMO sale.

Might help you find it in your email if you received it.

    • Oh I see. It's only for selected customers by the look of it.

  • Does anyone know if Latitude does credit check everytime you make a purchase using it or once only when it approves initial limit?

  • What would happen if you were to make a purchase of $150 paid $100 (150-50) and request a refund? would you get $150 back?

    • Just to clarify asking for refund/store credit after its been paid off

  • do they deduct 50 instantly? or give us $50 back to the account?

    • Instant so you will only pay the difference.

      • I'm on the Goodguy website and just checking out, I've selected latitude pay and clicked the t&c box and next button is place order, but my order still shows the original price…when do I see the $50 discount or do I only see it in my Latitude account where the outstanding amount is reduced?

        • Discount was applied instantly in cart for Catch. Haven't tried TGG.

        • For future reference it goes through to latitude pay then tells you the normal 1/10th first payment.

After that it gives you a schedule showing the last few payments are nil as the 50 bucks is applied against it.

  • I got the LatitudePay account, but failed to add a credit card as a payment method in LatitudePay online account.

Tried multiple credit cards, but no luck. Has anyone come across a similar issue?

    • I know I can't pay Bundll with my CC but perhaps not related. However, you can pay Latitude Pay installment with Bundll. (Afterpay with Afterpay, so go figure)

    • I'm not 100% on this but normally you can't pay off debt with other debt so it has to come from a debit card.

  • Cotton On were out of stock of one of the items I ordered but the refund was processed successfully by LatitudePay.
