Fantastic electric shaver, was recently on sale at the Shaver Shop for $189.00. Foil shaver, very low irritation for sensitive skin. Difference between series 5 and 7 is that 7 can vary the cutting speed. The washer works amazingly well, leaving the shaver lemony fresh.
I have this shaver but don't have others to compare as I was always used a razor before this. But I can recommend this for the price
Well I bought this at the Shaver Shop for 159 and I was extremely happy with it, I have very sensitive skin, had electric razers before that gave me rash and irritation. This foil shaver did an amazing job, very close shave. At 135 I'm tempted to get a second one.
I had series 5 shaver for a few years, and then upgraded to series 7 and never looked back
series 7 aren't much more expensive, I got mine on some eBay 20% sale for $199, and it's a big step forward from series 5
series 7 to series 9 is just some tiny improvements and hard to justify
but 5 to 7 is a worthy upgrade I would suggest

Just make sure you keep you receipts, and pray the battery last, since if it's die like my one twices within a year each, good luck getting service from Braun. The shaver it self it's good but not impressive, performance on par with 3 head Panasonic and even cheap xiaomi shaver.
I have had a series 7 for about 10 years now. Still going strong other than occasional foil replacements. I came from a Philips and found the Braun gave a closer shave and less irritation.
hmm I thought difference between 5 and 7 is that 7 does the micro vibration shit to do a closer shave, no?

CC in the model number stands for Clean and Charge i believe. Well, all the ones with a cleaning station have CC and vice versa so it makes sense at least.
The closeness of the shave of both the Series 5 and 7 not quite to the level of a Panasonic Arc 4 or 5 - I'll guess I stick to my Panasonic Arc 4.
Might sound weird but i prefer that, the closer the shave the greater the irritation, razor bumps and burns etc, surely?
Depends on what you want. With shavers never being able to have as close as shave as with razors, I want the most closest shave.

I'm about to buy this today me thinks! Shame no local stock for click and collect. Anyone have any reviews or impressions for the Braun? I've been Philips triple head design before but not extremely happy with the performance.
