    while it says good as a towel, would this be sufficient in drying the entire body? or just for small areas?

      Chamois is not a stupid towel product like the shamwow as previously mentioned. It is a quality leather material good for cleaning windshields and other glass-like surfaces. You could use it to dry your body but it would almost be like rubbing a wet piece of leather all over yourself.
