This is my first time post and please correct me if I made any mistake.
I am a Japanese food lover but it usually costs so much more in Australia than in Japan. (I understand foreign food charged with a premium to cover the import cost)
As I shop around Amazon, I find this Kit Kat Matcha Green is now only $9.80. I believe this is the lowest price I have ever seen because I remember searching for this last week and it was $40 something and cost another $40 for deliver LOL.
Just ordered 2 and now I am sharing with you guys with the same taste.
Japanese Kit Kat Matcha Green Tea Flavor $9.80 + Delivery (Free with Prime/$39 Spend) @ Monta Foods via Amazon AU

I miss my holiday in Tokyo, endless cheap food, special edition coke in the vending machines which are literally everywhere.
I miss hot or cold coffee everywhere for a reasonable price and reasonable flavour.
Cheap food? compare to SE Asia
Japan, and technically Australia, are part of south east asia :p
@MasterScythe: Japan… a part of South East Asia? Uhhhhh…
Not that is should mean anything, but it is sold by 'Monta Foods' and shipped by Amazon.
Thanks Op, grabbed a couple.
very expensive but tasty
Its showing as $44.50 for me now. Must have been a pricing error?
add to cart does nt work
You can find this in Asian grocery stores for about this price
If they normally charge 40 bucks a pack like op said then there better be some gold insideHi, it actually shows $44.50 + $120.07 Delivery for me
i think the cheap stock has been sold out, let me edit my post
Sorry I am new to this, how do I update my post?
To Ozbargainer, I find the price has gone up to $44.50. I think the local stock has been sold out already.Love green tea kit kats and can usually find it for around 8-9 bucks in asian stores like tokyo mart or chinese grocery stores
Wish I could go to japan and bring back a suit case full of them!
Fingers crossed; we're extremely likely only months away from antibodies, even if a vax doesnt work.
Then we'll probably get a "low transmission rate travel bubble" happening, and we can go again! (I will be!)
Man, if a vax or 'cure' doesnt work, I dont know how on earth the world will ever reopen to the USA….
But Japan is good enough for me :p
you sure thats enough reason to get on a plane,
Is Japan enough reason?
Fruking EASILY.
used to eat these a lot when travelling Japan

rip off
Before lockdown (pre March 2020) I used to see these regularly for ~$5 to $8 in any Asian Grocery Store in Melbourne.
Don't see how $9.80 is a bargain at all.
Pretty sure some Daiso stores also have them, cheaper than here.
Eg $7.50 here but currently out of stock
https://groceryasia.com.au/product/nestle-japan-kitkat-match…Yeah, these are usually $5-$8-ish at Asian grocery stores. I guess this is a deal if you live in whoop whoop.
Daiso also sells these matcha kitkats.
the price right now…
$44.50 + $120.07 DeliveryCan someone explain to an ignorant philistine why this is so much, and so sought after?
it says "mini 12 pcs"
Judging by the ingredients it looks like an expensive mixture of cheap chemicals.
about 300yen in Japan, 220yen on special from the big chain stores.
Price jacked, but its matcha flavor and I can understand people that fork out for these on a special occasion.
I really need to start importing…
Congrats on your first post! Keep it up!
