You could buy two Xiaomi 3H's ($199 ea) for the price of one of these, better choice if you have multiple areas to cover in your home.
Generally positive reviews on amazon (3.8 / 5) https://www.amazon.com.au/product-reviews/B07W3NJ8X8/?sortBy…
These have UV microbial sterilisation and cover almost 70m2. The 3H is a simple HEPA filter and is recommended for a max size of 45m2. The separate sensor pod is much better than something built in as air quality would improve around the purifier faster than some distance away. This would be better for people with allergies. Price to benefit ratio is very hard to assess based purely on specs.
Probably a better comparison against the Xiaomi Mi Pro Air Purifier. similar price point and size of room coverage.
The only difference would the use of UV lamp in the Trusens (also similar to the Breville models).
Question is, does the UV lamp really work better in terms of sterilisation and cleaning the air of viruses ? Does anyone know ?
I’ve got the Z-3000 and the sensor pod works really well at picking up particles
Battery powered?
Separate power plug, it will use up two sockets unfortunately but you can place it in a further location
