    I think the fare is only if you buy a return ticket?
    when I check return ticket gold coast to Osaka it is &2XX back from OSAKA to GC in Feb, when I check a single from Osaka to GC on the same date it show 4XXXX JPY which is $500!!!

      The cheap fare from Japan is only if you buy a return ticket. You can get a cheap ticket to Japan, or both ways. Just not a one-way back. Which is what I've been looking for.

      That is usual with Jetstar's booking system as you are booking the Japan-Australia leg from Jetstar in Japan, where it is not necessarily on sale!
      Just book the flight as a return & it might be on special (depending on dates!)
      eg GC-Osaka Nov25 $289.00 Osaka-GC 21 Dec $271.23 (plus baggage, food etc)

          Yes, Japan-Aust sales happen. A Japanese friend (wife is a bus tour guide north of Kyoto) told me the Japanese are now travelling again, so less likelihood of getting a good deal. I have rung Jetstar before, when I wanted open jaw ticket, as return leg was very expensive.

          So you could ring Jetstar. Would mean paying extra fee, but point out they do not provide that option online & bargain - I have had fee waived. When I booked from Japan for single ticket to Australia, was able to get Australian sale deal. Price depends on dates - usually cheaper Feb to mid-March.

    Yes GC to Osaka isnt that great not compared to the $450 return like the last sale, that's the only fare I would be interested in.

      Um… its a Jetstar Sale! Jetstar does not (yet) fly to International destinations other than Asia & Oceania/Hawaii! So where were you expecting Jetstar to fly to???

    And the return flight is only $86 (plus the usual Jetsar add ons).

    5 x adults return from Perth to Bali with luggage and credit cards fees for <$300 each. Had to go there for wedding. Timed perfectly!!! Great find OP.

      Actually, Adioso does dynamic connecting flights too (ie: it'll find you the best connections available that fit) - just switch the search appropriately: http://adioso.com/au/sydney-au-to-japan
