I own this soundbar (HTS100F) and can recommend it. Bought it from TGG Commercial site for $165 about two years ago. Had no issues with it - sound is crisp and clear. It's best for smaller rooms rather than a large living room. If heavy bass is your thing then look elsewhere. It's currently listed for $207 on the TGG Commercial site.

  • Cheers OP, been looking for a soundbar that's not too deep for my daughters TV, got it off Amazon had a $160 gift card so paid $45.

  • Sony have it for $205 too.

    • I believe there's also cashback on the Sony website

  • Got one for $195 delivered from Officeworks. Thanks OP

For $140 more you can get the HTS350 which includes a subwoofer. Well worth it.

  • I've never owned a soundbar before. Just want to know how much difference does it make compared to the television speakers in a smallish townhouse living room? I have a 55" Samsung UHD tv…

BIG difference in clarity and quality of sound. It's not about the loudness. If you have a Bluetooth speaker connect it to your TV and see if you spot a difference. I cannot go back to using the TV speakers.

Soundbar won't give you surround sound but still worth a couple hundred for the sound improvement

      • Thank you. Can I connect my Blutooth XM3's to this soundbar? Because I cannot connect them to the Tv…

The Soundbar would receive audio but unlikely to act as a transmitter. You can buy a Bluetooth transmitter and connect it over audio cable to your TV. Your headphones then connect to the transmitter. Different use case to what a Soundbar is for

          • @TheFastandFrugal: Any products you recommend?

            Cheers

            • @Saeed: Not particularly. I bought a BlueAnt twist a while back but it kept dropping out every now and then. was using it in my car.
